The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Did you ever post your resume or say who you are in the industry? If not, I just can't take anything you say seriously. I've never heard of a rule or stipulation where you're absolutely denied to tell anyone what you do or where you work. This isn't the FBI or the CIA, it's the video game industry where networking and getting yourself out there is a necessity. If you did actually post proof than I apologize, but if not, you're just a liar, plain and simple.

He's legit. Sorry you'll just have to agonize.

i hope blizzard just combines D3 and teh expansion for PS4, no need to have 2 separate games.  Also, to those who play console, you guys never played PC version?  I can't see how some moves would work.

Some of the spells wizards use are slow, so you aim in front of the enemy to get more DPS.  The Demon Hunter can set traps, but in PC you can click where the traps go, cant see how that translates well with controllers.

I tried to make it a bit spooky. It's close to Halloween after all

That's cool my dude, you don't have to take anything I say seriously. It's up to you, but I'm not BSing anyone. I've got a long standing confidential relationship with a few people in this thread where I drop information from time to time. There's no stipulation on not speaking about what I do and I choose not to disclose where I work because of the personal opinions I make on this site that may reflect back on me or my studio. I'm a programmer that recently moved into a production role for a video game studio in Los Angeles. I also do SCRUM consulting on the side for software development. That's all that needs to be said about my work.

In an interest to not have this turn into a Gold St. Capital debacle here's a few tagged pics with my first name of my current CES and E3 registrations to show my current industry affiliation.

Hybrid dropped some info before E3 that turned out to be accurate. Plus he knows what he's talking about when it comes to console setups / programing etc. I understand that some on NT might be less likely to believe people after that whole Gold Capital thing, but Hybrid is legit.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH GOLD CAPITAL? CAN SOMEONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?

Thats true, but SE made an MMO work on console so maybe Blizzard can pull off a similar feat.

Infamous Second Son Limited and Collector’s Editions Revealed

The PS4 launch is right around the corner, which means plenty of fantastic, next-gen games to check out on November 15th! But today, we’re here to update you on inFAMOUS Second Son. Sucker Punch Productions has devoted tremendous effort to it so far, and we’ve been working with them to reward gamers who pre-order with not only the exclusive vests we announced, but also an upgraded, limited edition that gives you a unique foil cover, as well as Cole’s Legacy DLC.
Behold! The inFAMOUS Second Son Limited Edition for only $59.99! Like the title says, it’s limited, so if you’re interested, don’t forget to pre-order. This item won’t be available after launch.

Don’t worry if you’ve already pre-ordered, by the way. You’ll automatically be upgraded to the Limited Edition!
But what’s this Cole’s Legacy DLC we mentioned? For one, it won’t be available for purchase when inFAMOUS Second Son launches. It’s only available through these offers here. It’s additional downloadable content you’ll be able to play that uncovers what happened between the devastating events of Infamous 2 and inFAMOUS Second Son.
Cole MacGrath’s actions in New Marias set in motion a chain of events leading to the now forceful occupation of Seattle by the oppressive Department of Unified Protection. Cole’s Legacy bridges this gap in time with a series of missions Delsin Rowe must complete that reveal unique insights into how the world of inFAMOUS Second Son came to be.
And for those of you looking for something to collect, look no further than the inFAMOUS Second Son Collector’s Edition for only $79.99.

The inFAMOUS Second Son Collector’s Edition contains everything you need to get into the Infamous universe. This beautiful, very limited collector’s edition contains a copy of inFAMOUS Second Son, an exclusive cover, exclusive in-game vest, a replica of Delsin’s beanie, a set of pins, decals, a DUP patch, and Cole’s Legacy DLC!
The Limited and Collector’s Editions will be gone pretty quickly, so be sure to pre-order before the game comes out early next year, and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and Facebook for more Infamous content and news!

Official: PS4's DriveClub delayed to 2014

The online-centric PS4 racing game Drive Club has been delayed to 2014, Sony has confirmed.

The project, underway at UK based MotorStorm developer Evolution Studios, was originally scheduled for release as one of fifteen PS4 launch games in November. But both the full game and the free PS Plus edition will not available this year, instead scheduled for "early 2014".

Drive Club's delay is the second major blow to Sony's launch plans, with the news emerging three days after Ubisoft revealed it has delayed its highly anticipated launch game Watch Dogs to 2014.

Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida confirmed the rumoured set-back in a statement published on the official PlayStation Blog. He said the title "will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game, but the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision - and I'm fully confident the game will surpass your expectations".

He clarified that a free version PS Plus edition of the title will be available when the full game is released. At the PS4's launch, however, the replacement for the free DriveClub will be the platform game Contrast.

"If you're not aware of Contrast, it will whisk you away to a surreal vaudevillian, film-noir inspired reality full of performance, intrigue, shadow-play and drama," Yoshida said.
