Yeah for those who didn't preorder I think u will be able to show up at your local targets,gamestops, Wal marts etc. at opening and scoop one up

Wouldn't expect anyone on PS3 only last gen to understand that statement.

Gears was great, but I wouldn't be all that excited about the next installment hitting PS4 unless there is a drastic change to the formula, like huge open combat zones, multiple ways to approach each battle or something.
PS. Why didn't games steal Gears' active reload mechanic? I loved that.

That wasn't directed at you. It was an opinion about everyone overreacting to the FAQ yesterday... But they can sigh relief, Sony said today their 2nd update will restore these functionalities.
. At anyone that actually cancelled their preorder over this.

How big can games get next gen?
Would we have to wait till next gen before we start seeing games as big as 100gb?
I think the biggest BD is 250gb.
Could the ps4 even read that type of disc?
What type of games would even need that much space?
Rpgs probably.
But with games so big, would dlc still be the cash cow that it is?
