Yea people who paid off get bumped to the front of the line. That was how it worked when I was manager.

I pre-ordered in early September. 
I originally planned to just walk in to a store and buy one, but it started to look like that wasn't going to happen. "Before Christmas" can still be almost 6 weeks after launch.

At the EB Games Ive been to in Canada, you have to go a day early and wait in line to get a ticket. The number of that ticket is where you are in line. So basically you have to wait in line twice.

i hit up amazon back in june for my pre order, but it wasn't a launch day console, but they upgraded me to one like a week later... i wonder if they will stick to it

So, there are a couple of dents and scratches on my PS3 and I've been thinking about buying a replacement shell for it. The system works find, it's just the cosmetic issues that are bugging me. What would you guys do? Would you get a replacement shell or do you think it's not worth it?

What's up with those OD large embedded videos? The a third of the video on the right side is always cut off for me. I have to click the title to go to the YT page to fullscreen them.

This desk one I have my computer and sometimes consoles hooked up to is 720p/1080i. It's only 29". I couldn't imagine having a bigger one at a computer desk that I'm sitting like 2 and a half feet from.
