The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I read that "Titanfall" won game of the year at E3...

So I went back and looked at the gameplay vid and I just don't see it. Maybe it's my taste in games. It's ok I guess.

But from what I see Destiny > Titanfall so far atleast.
Yessir.. copping Destiny whenever it drops next year

I feel very different about replay value. I used to only be into shooters but I've shyed away from them a bit. Personally fallout 3 is my favorite and most played game of this generation. With 2 full playthroughs plus all the side quests in each one...I've probably logged 200+ into that game. If you never played it, check it out before the next generations are here.

You can buy non shooters/ sports games at prices well below $60 if you wait long enough. Not everything must be purchased at full price...

There is no barometer to measure replay value. It's incredibly subjective. It all depends on the player. If you want to beat the game once, then that's all you get from it. I still remember having to beat the original MGS 3 times to get multiple endings with different secret items like the stealth camo, bandana, or tuxedo.

I bought Call of Duty: Black Ops the week it came out and didn't play it longer than a month because I thought the game was buns. Didn't even touch the single player. I bought it for multi-player and barely played it. To me, if a single player game is done right, it has a lot of replayability. Every game has replay value to someone if they find it compelling enough to play it again.

Over the last few years the only games I buy at full price are sports and any metal gear solid. I even still buying ps2 games

As far as "other" games go... The Batman Arkham games are really good. Is the new one a PS4 game?

Fighting games are shooting games before online. Instead of multiplayer COD people were playing MK and SF at the arcade haha. I enjoyed the new MK

Which game generally has the most enjoyable campaign mode out of killzone, call of duty and battlefield? Im planning on getting call of duty just because my friends are probably gonna be playing it online but I want something that has a good single player mode as well.

I thought BO2s campaign was really good.

My exact feelings.

Whether it comes to PS4 or not, this game does nothing for me. It can stay on Xbox One for all I care.

you know you're getting old when single player games just don't do it for you no more :smh: :\
