Last generation helped me learn not to be excited for a game until you actually see it in a playable form. You can't play hopes and dreams.

The re-reveal for Versus XIII XV has restored my excitement for that one though.

Been staying away from this thread because of all the SS talk. Had a busy weekend and didn't get a chance to play.

But I will throw 5 to 7 hours at it today hopefully.

It's good to see infamous getting so much love tho. Glad people are getting back to playing more than FPS.

^ These boys aint even using spoilers half the time  I just scroll past anything that has the word 'POWERS' in it. Probably gonna pick up today after I trade in TF

Yea I'm scared now. One of the powers just got spoilt but I kind of saw it coming. I don't get time to play during the week so I need to tread carefully in this thread till Saturday.

Completely forgot about this game. It won't surprise if it was quietly canceled but I'm hoping it comes out. We need some more next gen fighters.

I'll pass on all those for Final Fantasy Agito.

I've given up on Agito, same as I did with Versus until it was changed to XV

Type-0 on the other hand is probably never coming out here. I doubt Shahid or Adam Boyes can bring it over and I refuse to import a Japanese version.


I don't know how we went from Crisis Core, Dissidia and Type-0 to all these mobile titles. I guess that's where the money is

I think I knew that actually, but I am getting angry all over again. :x

Ive given mobile games a fair shake (in terms of android; Vita is still awesome) and I just can't take to them. If Im bored I'd rather read news than play on a touch screen.

I can't get down with mobile games at all. I enjoy 3DS and Vita but I can only play for small amounts of time before my hands start to hurt.

The powers I guess can be a spoiler, but its not as big as spoilers as something more story/plot related. The 3rd power you get I knew what it was called before I got it, but had no clue how it would even work. lol

I don't look at the Vita as mobile. Mobile to me is like Angry Birds type of short burst games on smart phones and tablets. Handhelds like the PSP, Vita, Game Boy, 3DS, etc. are game machines first and sometimes only.

Smart phones and tablets are getting more powerful now and we're starting to see PS2 quality games ported over or being developed for them, but it's a different market. When I saw they were putting DQ8 on mobile my first thought was, "I ain't playing that on a 4" screen. They should of put that on the PS Store or even remaster it."

Facebook just bought Oculus VR for 2 Billion.

VR is here to stay but I wonder what direction they'll take the product, especially the hardware.

It could also potentially be good news for Morpheus.

Whatsapp is used by millions of users. Oculus is unproven in terms of sales since it hasn't technically launched yet.

Oculus is only for PC. It needs powerful hardware for what they're aiming for and PS4 isn't capable according to Carmack.

I think I talked about this last year when we had a bunch of different dev kits in, but there was an external peripheral Sony was testing for backwards compatibility that they were going to offer (for a price). Thought it was scrapped but maybe they're going to bring it back. IDK I haven't heard/seen anything since last year.

As for the Morpheus I have heard that I might get to see it in meetings pretty soon. If I can give my impressions, I will.

Doesn't shock me at all. From what I've heard it just wasn't a good fit for him or the studio overall.
