The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I dont see the problem with great games from previous gen consoles being developed for newer consoles. I mean the other thread goes ape **** about Halo 2 coming out for xbone.
its not a "problem" as in its the oversaturation of the games, ala like retro shoes... and the lack of new gen games... Then on top of that they aren't even classic games in the sense of "oldies but goodies" theyre games that aren't even old... and games that everybody and they mama should have played... and they aren't adding anything new etc... to the game.

Im just saying the biggest games/releases for a next generation system shouldn't be games from the previous generation...

Crafty PS4 User Mods Xbox One Thumb Sticks on His DualShock 4; Reports Perfect Compatibility

Controllers are mostly a matter of personal preference, and there are gamers willing to go the extra mail to get just the perfect experience from their primary gaming tools. That’s exactly what Reddit user TheTurboFD did.

He evidently liked the thumb sticks of the Xbox One controller more than the stock ones on his DualShock 4, so he ordered a pair on Amazon, popped his controller open and dropped the new sticks in, as you can see in the picture below. Quoting his own words, it was “well worth it.”

Way better than the default sticks. It became easier to aim in games like COD and MGS.

The best thing? They’re perfectly compatible, making the modding job extremely easy and the result perfectly functional.
No squeaking at all and they just popped right in.

While I’m sure your mileage may vary on which sticks are better for the controller, we have to tip our collective hat to this kind of initiative and simple creativity.

Thought this was interesting. I didn't even know you could order controller parts. Let alone off of Amazon

oh yea you can get replacement buttons analog sticks etc... you never seen the buttons replaced with bullets.... I also saw someone make the ds4 work for ps3 and visa versa as well

Also the keys for the ps4 have been discovered now its just making an exploit.... they already develop a way to jb/copy etc... ps4 games.... once that is found ps4 will be modable...which is still maybe a yr or so away but hey its faster then what ps3 was...

I can't wait for The Last Of Us on PS4. It was one game I couldn't wait to play on PS3, but heard about it early on and it seemed like eternity before it released. But when they announced the next gen consoles, I sold both my current gen (as I always do) systems. So I never got a chance to play it. Gonna preorder that asap.

^wait till it hits $40 or cop it, then resell after completion.
It's non-arguably the best ps4 game out right now.
It's about 10-12 hours.

Trials Fusion runs at 1080p/60fps on PS4, 900p/60fps on Xbox One

somebody please explain to me why sony has one whole button dedicated to sharing/recording, yet everytime you initiate the recording yprocess you get the same top right hand corner image on screen as opposed to said image upon first time, then the second time the same red circle image yet garnished with say, a slash through it to indicate you've stopped recording.

Xbone got em beat in the recording dept. most def.

Step ur game up sone, u got this

and nobody wants these ds4 lights on.

pat.

Took me a minute to figure it out. I just double tap to start and then double tap to stop. But if you hit the share button and it takes you to that menu it automatically stops recording.

We like better graphics and games that run at a higher resolution

So all of you preferred the 360 over the PS3, and Xbone Original over the PS2? Right? :nerd:

I don't think it looks good at all. Well, it looks good but the animations and gameplay mechanics are more of the same. As of right now it looks like 7/10 worthy.

I preferred the original XBOX for Online MP though because PS2 was struggling. But PS2' games were unmatched.

nope

That's my point though. When it wasn't an advantage for Playstation, Sony supporters acted like it was no big deal. Now it in their favor, it is a big deal

And I used that specific point because of homeboys "we like better graphics" comment.

I understand your response towards his statement.

I was just responding to share my personal opinion to say we ain't all the same. Sony or M$ or neutral fans.
