Yeah the gameplay looks really good and it's the sort of game i could get into. Has some qualities from the arkham and assassins creed games.

I just don't see it with Shadow of Mordor. Then again, I've never been into AC or Batman.
The souls games kinda spoiled me as far as combat goes in these types of games.
Like, large groups of enemies surround you but only attack 2 or 3 at a time. And then there's a button prompt to auto-counter the dude behind you. There's zero tension to engaging in combat.
In the Souls games if you aggro an enemy he's coming for your ***. Everyone will swing at you at once.

According to Japanese blog Hachima Kikou, the producer of Dragon Quest X has stated that he would like to see the series ported to PS4:
That sentiment makes sense, considering the success of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PS4 earlier this year. Such a port (if happening at all) might be able to mitigate the rather lukewarm sales of the game, currently out for Wii, Wii U and PC.

Yeah, but there's a lot more to the game than that. Probably the most fun you can have in a Open World game. Easily the Sleeper hit of the year, going by critical and fan reception.
The Nemesis system is innovative and the most refreshing game play mechanic to come out this year. I guarantee this is going to be copied to hell by every open world developer.

I agree with the Assassin's Creed combat. Those games have lousy open worlds and the combat is terrible, but the Arkham games are pretty good. The enemies don't wait there in line like AC unless you're playing on easy or something. You have to use your Batarang and cape stun to disorient enemies so they don't come at you all at once. You actually need to disarm enemies too. Batman is armed to the teeth, but he's still just a man. The games require a lot of stealth and tactics too.

I found GTA Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and The Damned bundled together for $10 today. For those of you that have played it, is it worth that price? I didn't like GTA IV so I'm skeptical
