The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I might buy Shadow of Mordor soon. Even though the ps4 version has slight improvements, I'd prefer the xb1 version. Since it has the superior controller.

It would be interesting to see if the average gamer decides on which multiplat console version to get based on graphics, console features, or something else.
Links proving xb1 has a superior controller?

I posted a pros/cons list of the xb1/ps4

and a link to a thread of people who've owned xb1s/ps4s for 9 months.

I looked at both controllers objectively.

I don't think I've ever seen a post in here about the DS4's great battery life.

Or how the light bar and touch pad add to the experience of their games.

If you wear earbuds like me, the speaker on the DS4 becomes irrelevant.

Again objectively, the xb1 controller is superior because all the buttons are necessary.

Some ps4 games force you to use the touch pad.

The battery life/impulse triggers also add to that notion.

Oh I know that strike well. I've done it 6 times now. Shoot me an invite when you're on.

is the ps+ version of drive club available yet? i thought i saw people talking about it earlier in the thread
i know you can dim the light but not completely turn it off. i think you can adjust it by holding the ps button on the controller and going to adjust devices when the screen pops up i think its called

The voice actor for Louis is in this game.

Replaying Shadow of the Colossus over the weekend.

****, we need more games like that.

Something like that built from the ground up for the PS4 would be insane.

Team Ico taking their sweet time with TLG. The next closest thing to one of their games is Rime though. I'm actually looking forward to that one.

Dualshock 4 > X1 controller. X1 controller feels too small and I always pinch my trigger finger behind the LT when playing shooters

I looked at the controllers as objectively as possible.

I didn't factor in how they felt to me, because it was too subjective.

Spelunky streaming. Going for the Speedlunky trophy (beat the game in under 8 minutes)

What? So the touch screen isn't necessary but some games force you to use it? How does that make any sense whatsoever. I could see if a controller had not enough buttons being a knock, but there's nothing wrong with the touch pad. It works as a start/ select button with added functionality if devs want to use the touch pad.

What a moronic qualifier for an "objective" measure of superiority.

Stick to googling answers to questions people have and drop this lame Mr. Objective Opinion nonsense.
