I'd be disappointed if it's only 7 seasons. They are gonna miss out/skip a lot of things. :frown: Won't br so mad though, if they put too much on the show, it could be complicated to some viewers.

I'd rather lived in a burned down Winterfell than be stuck at The Wall for the rest of my life. I wonder if they had money stores away somewhere.

I wanted Brienne to tell Sansa that Arya was still alive.

Stannis said so himself, Jon's honor will be his downfall, just like his dad.
Nah. John will be good no matter what title he has. Whether Lord Commander or Lord of Winterfell he is a good leader.

Furthermore John isn't blinded by honor. He may have a lot of it but he's no fool.  He knows he is the first line of defense against the white walkers, a responsibility he feels trumps fighting Roose and Ramsay Bolton.

The Snow part of Johnathan is probably the main reason Johnathan is flourishing while his siblings are struggling. He just seems to make better choices than his siblings. The Starks (outside of Arya) have made too many dumb moves and are mostly responsible for their current situations.

I also think the Starks are cursed besides doing dumb stuff. Ned's brother and father were both killed by the king. Ned was ordered to be executed by another king. Lyanna died young. Benjen has been missing for forever. Not that good either for the Tullys. Catelynn and Lysa both gone and their brother locked away somewhere.

I think so too. He is not bound by royal expectation and keeping up appearances so he has more clarity in his thinking. And Arya never really cared for the pomp and prestige anyway so she's another smart one. Sansa is the biggest dunce of them all. I low-key don't care if she dies or not.

BTW where the hell is woggy eyes Brann? Is he still past the wall?

Jon Snow aint making any smarter decisions than any of the Starks. He was inches away from breaking his vows to help Robb in the war. He wouldve died if he hadnt realized that they would track him down and kill him if he left.

He goes to try to kill Mance Raider, in his own camp, surrounded by wildlings. Only reason he didnt die then is because Stannis came at the right time.

He's only alive for two reasons, because his time with the wildlings was like two and half ******* seasons, pure luck, and (depending on how important Jon is to the ending of GoT) plot convenience.

Arya >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And now that Sansa got her hopes and dreams crushed, she learning to play the game. I hope she kills somebody. Her and her sisters can be slaughtering ****** left and right by the end of the show. I hope Sans crosses that line.

Im saying it looks like Sansa is learning to play the game. I hope she becomes a cold blooded killer like her sister by the end of the show. At least kill Roose Bolton. Dude beheaded your fam.

Stannis said so himself, Jon's honor will be his downfall, just like his dad.

Stannis only said that because Jon choose not to take him up on his offer..

Can't remember the exact circumstances but this wasn't the situation with Robb where he killed that guy and ended up loosing a ton of soldiers in the middle of a war

Or not fully thinking out the consequences of breaking that alliance with homeboy with the ugly daughters so he could marry his 'love'

Or Ned trying to do the honorable thing and warn cersei.. Or telling his daughter who clearly has 'puppy love' for the king that they were skipping town (the whole thing with Joff, arya and the wolves should have shown him where Sandra's head was)

HBO will be fine after GoT. They've been gold for years man. I've watched HBO every year since I was 13 yrs old watching OZ..... i'll be 31 this year. They consistently put out fantastic shows and documentaries and original movies.

Im sayin.

Dudes in here must be in their teens if they think HBO gonna fall off because of one show.

HBO survived The Sopranos, The Wire, Sex and the City, and Def Comedy Jam to name a few.

HBO always gonna eat.

Exactly..

Also Rome was a great show, that was ended wayyyy too soon.. Unfortunately, they didn't have the whole box set model for revenue established yet (think this pretty much set that.. But it was too late for them to realize and save the show)

Sansa will probably end up a killer, but she'll kill her targets indirectly like Littlefinger. I bet she'll even out scheme Littlefinger and take him out too.

Sansa was foolish but she's learning to play the game. Her story is looking very interesting besides she's still alive, so she can't be that stupid

Sansa, just like snow, is alive due to circumstance. Fact of the matter is since everyone else was presumed dead they needed her to claim the north. She is not alive due to her intelligence. If they didn't need her alive she'd be the first of the stark children to die.

I still wanna see her take a sword and plunge it through someone's chest.

Jon aint cut out to be a King. Dude is legit slow. He really isn't a leader but he is a good soldier for sure

His personality is terrible and his body language is always so down. What else to expect from a bastard

Would they really have went after him though?

They go on about how much they need men.. And they still would have had those incidents the wights (and Mormont is dead without Jon snow there to save his life)

Then you add in that they would have still been under attack from the Wildlings.. And Jon snow doesn't infiltrate their camp and thus isn't able to warn them about the impending attack

Yes, Jon snow was naive.. But you have to remember his age at the start of this (and especially how young he supposed to be in the books).. He hasn't made Ned, Robb or Sansa level mistakes

Ned trusting little finger.. Robb killing one of his bannermen for killing a lanister cousin (I think that's what happens).. Sansa going to cersei because she doesn't want to leave king's landing

They go on about how they need men but killing a Night's Watch deserter is the first thing that happened in this show. So yes they would've.

You can argue that killing the wight wouldve earned him a pass but I dont think so. As for invading the wildling camp, that is an event that happened after he wouldve been beheaded. There was no way for them to know how useful he wouldve been alive. Not to mention that he was supposed to be an errand boy. They wouldve had no problem offing him.

As for Jon Snow not making major mistakes, its because of circumstance. Hes in the Night's Watch so he aint a player in the game of thrones.

The Stark children are not in play in season 1. Then he spends season 2 and 3 with the wildlings. His mission was to bring back information. Little wiggle room with what he couldve done but it does show that he is a good SOLDIER and continues to prove he is a good soldier in season 4. Had he been a player in the game of thrones then he would not have lasted this long.

Did the bastard pipe your girl or something? You sound like you have a personal vendetta against him.

Clever, but no I don't have a vendetta against a fictional character on a television show

Just reading over pages of posts about Jon possibly being the next King, have a different opinion
