Orrrrrrrrr Varry's doesn't really have actual people spying for him, he has the ability to warg and use crows. Wait, doesn't he calls his informants "little birds." ????

Interesting theory though.. like I said will have to watch all of GOT  again to verify. Wonder whats more expensive those big battles like the wildlings fight or them dragons BBQ'ing people?
 
People just making up stuff now and having people go back and see if it's true. I have crows in my backyard sometimes. Must be Bran just chilling.
 
I'm almost certain this has already been posted, but I just saw it for the first time and I'm sure there are others out there.

He uses the little people (chambermaids, people that make beds, etc) because no one of higher status pays them any mind and they hear everything. Think of Arya when she was the cupbearer for Tywin

I think the crow/raven thing was only for season 5. 

Edit: I haven't looked for them myself. I'm alone assuming that if it's "Bran Watching" it would be happening during this last season.

Podcasts and Reddit people have been posting about there being crows in the background of scenes throughout the series but especially Season 5. The idea being that in the past it was Bloodraven/tree dude watching and now it's Bran.

I shared that theory on here before even checking if I saw any of the alleged season 5 ravens. So I'm not really sure how prominent they are if at all.
 
Either way this series is bonkers, all the plots, all the backstabbing. The wait for season 6 will be atrocious.

For the show I think the Hardhome episode was great in present time but bad going forward because as viewers we know what is up North and how screwed everybody else will be if/when they get south of the wall which makes every other story line kind of irrelevant imo. At best those plots will be light entertainment but eventually I still come back to how are the Walkers going to be stopped.

Hopefully the writers can come up with more consistent plots that are engaging, similar to early seasons, going forward.

Not at all. Just from me skipping to Dany's scene in "Mother's mercy":

Might mean something, might not. Interesting considering they put crows on a set where they already had to CGI in a dragon. But they could also just be carrion birds.

There may also be more in this ep and others. I just made those pics now cuz it occurred to me that I misunderstood what the dude on the podcast said and I had directed people to the wrong scene.

Tdogg2k is the GOT equivalent of what we call a strict constuctionist in the legal profession. Won't give any credence to something that isn't directly supported by the relevant text - in this case ASOIF.
