Then you'll just have to wait longer for ep 2.

Dudes aint getting this emerging netflix gratification now generation. Makes no sense to waste money on that unless you're getting more bang for your buck; behind the scenes, bloopers, extended preview of the entire season and ep. 2, etc.

the first time GoT had their 1 week break in season 1 (i think it was memorial weekend) , i ****** around and read the a game of thrones and a clash of kings in that two week span.

the thirst was real

i imagine paying to see the first ep early would do more harm than good :smh:

I think the next episode was put on hbogo by accident. I got a copy of it with the quickness and watched right away.

That screening at barclays is tempting. If enough of my friends want to go I might go.

Game of Thrones  returns to screens on April 6th, but there's a way to see it over two weeks early. HBO is hosting what it calls "The Epic Fan Experience" on March 20th at the Brooklyn Barclays Center's Cushman & Wakefield Theater, the highlight of which will be a showing of the season 4  premiere on a "stadium-sized" screen.

The event will also feature costumes and props from the traveling exhibition. 7,000 tickets will go on sale on Thursday at $15, with profits going to the charities Nothing But Nets and Books for Africa. Just don't expect to live-tweet any spoilers — the announcement makes it clear that no electronic devices whatsoever will be allowed inside the theater.

Much like winter, an official Game of Thrones rap album is coming

This Friday, HBO will release Catch the Throne, an official album of 10 rap tracks all about and inspired by the world and characters of Game of Thrones. I have no idea how to feel about this.

Honestly, it's just like a fan-made nerdcore rap album, except it's in this case the fans are professional rappers and the mastermind is a TV network looking to expand their show's multicultural audience. According to The Wall Street Journal, the album's artists include Big Boi, Common, Daddy Yankee and Bodega Bamz, who I can only hope will remake his hit song "Last of the Po'Ricans" into "Last of the Targaryens." From the article:

Chicago-based rapper and actor Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr., better known by his stage name, Common, said that he has watched "Game of Thrones" through the middle of Season 2, and said he loves its complexity and the depth of characters such as Tyrion Lannister, a raconteur, womanizer and royal adviser played by Peter Dinklage. ...

Common said his song on the mixtape is about what it feels like to battle to be top dog, and the things people are willing to do get there. "I sit and think when I'm in my zone / This life is like a Game of Thrones," he raps over a rising swell of strings and timpani drums.

Antwan André Patton, also known as Big Boi, an Atlanta rapper known for his lightning-quick verbal style, is a die-hard fan of the show, and says he has watched the whole series and is currently reading one of the books on which it is based ("I wanted to see what happens in the next season," he said.). On the HBO mixtape he, too, raps about Khaleesi, "the mother of dragons," over a military march-style instrumental track, with a chanted chorus of, "Dungeons, dragons, kings and queens!"
The album will be released for free online on March 7th. Question: Do you think the sound of Tyrion slapping Joffrey will be the beat for one song, or all the songs?
