How can they be fake tho..yea theyre legit

manifresh - thanks for the input fam.

The reason I thought they were fake is the label box didn't have the MRSP tag and it didn't show the perforations as if my guy removed it.

In the royal thread the admin said "the non perforated tag is usually an indication that the shoes are from overseas. look at the insole to see if the size tag is there. overseas pairs wont have a US size (makes sense since they have different sizing and MSRP) but will have a picture of a shoe outline instead."

I have a US size sticker on the insole so thought I should do a legit check.

LMAOO a legit check really?

lulz I know. Picked up 3 pairs from a new connect and I after the my discussion with the Royal thread admin, I just thought why not. I've inspected all my pairs and they look legit, but you never know.

sorry homie you got got your upc and tag are off you got grey market fakes but if you didnt pay to much just keep em i mean they're made with legit nike parts but are not legit shoes

Appreciate the input, but ill take it with a grain off salt. A lot of older NTers been telling me they are legit.

they arent used to grey market shoes ya fool look at a real tag im mean seriously you have a 9999999999999 tag they are fake this one is above the older heads sorry i know your in the denial phase

I see what your saying, but only one of my pairs has that 9999999... the other has this:

Thought the 99999 was an early pair. Besides tag anything else qualify them as fakes.

One thing throws me off, is there any signs of an MSRP tag on the label or preforations that it got peel off? US pairs have an MSRP tag, what throws me off is that you have a US men's size sticker on the insole. However, the label on the box is an international label because it doesn't have an US MSRP. My pair is an international pair and it has a different sticker inside the insole.

I noticed that too and posted in a Royal thread about the exact issue. Here is the link: http://niketalk.com/t/527183/offici...13-show-some-maturity-people/30#post_17323357

Man really hard to tell, they look really good to. I don't wanna say fake because they're grey market pairs; there's no clarification on the background. My advice, if you feel like it bugging you, sell them and get a real retail pair. Or just enjoy what you have and cut your business with that dude. It seems like he does bulk buys from taobao or something. Taobao is a haven for grey market shoes and probably the main source for people who get their early pairs.

Oh and one more thing, does the bottom of the lid of the box have a red # stamp?

I know. I've compared to my brothers Black Toes and my RTTG Vegas and it is still hard to tell. I have accepted that my royals are all grey market pairs. I'm going to try to get my money back from the sell or sell them as GM pairs (not authorized).

This was a one time purchase from the buyer and I never needed him after that or before. I always end up scoring pairs, but completely struck out with Royals. Now the search for real authorized pairs begins.

Yes, all my boxes had a red # stamp. Is that a give away?

Also, I repped and I truly appreciate your feedback. Glad there is a forum like NT.

all authorized pairs have the red stamp under the box, so it's not a giveaway. In all honesty, they look really good and I doubt they are a grey market pair because it looks on par to all retailed pairs. It's just that one thing about the sz. sticker and the label that don't comprehend. Again, if you are still uncertain you can always sell them and hunt for a retail pair. My advice, look for a pair where the box has an additional style-code sticker from a retailer like Eastbay, Footlocker, Footaction, etc... The barcode label should have a Eas- eastbay, FTL- footlocker, FTA- footaction, etc... Goodluck on your decision bro, don't stress it out too much!

I'm taking them to RIF to get checked out and get compared to legit royals. If they are grey market hit the seller and see if I can return them. If not I'm gonna try to sell them. I will definitely look for the style code sticker and/or a receipt.

Once again. Thanks for the feedback.

For all those wondering. I took my pairs to RIF LA which is a pretty well known consignment shop. They inspected all my pairs and said the are legit. I told them about the tag having 999999999 means it is a promo pair. The resellers brother is second or third string QB for USC, not sure if that means anything.

Also, The reseller had no pre/early releases, only recent releases. He was selling a couple All-Star KD's and Fire Red 5 that released prior.

Just to get another opinion, I'm going to take my pairs to Flight Club too. See what they think. Update coming soon.
