Nike Air Pegasus ALL NEW MODELS 30, 31, 32 and up

Definitely getting the black and gold, so clean

The Michael Johnson ones are dope too but I can't wear 2 different colored shoes

the flyknit streaks have a weird sizing imo. it's one of the few nike shoes i actually go TTS on. flyknit racers and the lunar family i have to go 1/2 size up.

prolly coz Racer are narrow in the forefoot and Lunar family are padded..

Flyknit Streaks are wider on the forefoot and unpadded, best of both worlds in my opinion.. looking forward to seeing what cw's come out.. in for that mc for sure.. dunno what other cw's though..

I ran 5 miles in them today. No issues and very comfortable. More support than the structure. Great stability shoe.

Thanks. I'll probably give them a try. I've been eyeing up the Kayano 23s as well which release soon. They used to be my go to stability shoe but I haven't liked them since the 18s. Maybe this time they'll feel right. LOL

Kayano 23 is switching it up and using some new tech and are going to be lighter, I wonder how they will work out

i have a pair of kayano 21's. only used them to run nyc marathon 2 years ago. do all my races across every distance in adios boost now. don't have any nike running shoes in my rotation atm. mainly new balance, newton, and adidas.

So, did anyone get the MJ Pegs? I just ordered them, can't wait to see them in-hand.

Yeah, I got them. Actually more excited for the MJ's than the Olympic UB's dropping today. Got Creams and MG's....don't need anymore UB's

However, the way the Pegs are sitting, they may be headed to outlets/Ross in a few months tho.

You guys think they'll ever put flyknit uppers on the Pegasus anytime soon? Doesn't need to have an ankle collar but I thought it could help the Pegasus with the weight reduction.

Was browsing through the Zoom All Outs and notices that the big kids version has a Pegasus sole and I thought it looked pretty good.

I wouldn't be surprised if that were to happen. It seems like a trend with Nike...

BTW, the Peg sole on the All Outs looks better than the OG, imho.

I feel like Flyknit on everything just wouldn't make sense. From a financial standpoint, Pegasus is an entry-level trainer, as it were. The Odyssey is built as a stability shoe and is more niche for Nike (how many of Nike's millions of customers understand shoe technology and performance?). Then on practicality, both have that relatively plush upper to have more comfort logging the longer miles.

Whereas the LunarEpic and All-Out are light and performance-oriented that just so happened to have mainstream cross-over, leading to low versions (that were no doubt planned before release, but potentially pushed forward after initial success). The Epic is definitely more popular since it has a bigger marketing push, but a lot of real speedsters like the All-Out. It's just really expensive for the main crowd it's targeting.

They also have Flyknit Lunars.

I do think flyknit prices are going down, LG7 was $125 (though it only has partial FK iirc) and Free RN Flyknit retailed for $130 and in a few years it's probably going to be much cheaper to produce too and can reach the Pegasus pricepoint.

I don't think it'll also hurt to have an EM and FK version.

I tried the black/gold peg 33 pair in store today. Walked around the store a couple minutes, jumped around and I was disappointed for the life of me I couldnt feel neither the heel or forefoot zoom at all. Would buy on deep discount not retail. Bought ultraboosts instead.
