they were supposed to retire the foamposite the year the zoom rookies dropped. I hope they really do it this time and stick to the basics.
 
If they retire them for about a year or so and then come back with a hot unannounced qs CW that could rejuvinate the foamposite

they don't even need a Hot Unannounced colorway.

Da masses will return when some older colors come back including but not limited to:

Anthracites
Royals
09 Eggplants
Coppers
Dr Dooms
HoH Army
Metallic Reds
Sample Cactus Foams
Volts
02/OG Pearls
Red Pros
Carolina Pros
Silver Pros
Black/Gum Pros
Royal Pros
 
Imo some of the CWs shouldnt be touched for at least 10 years(royals released three four times these past few years) and others should never retro(hoh army). Just my opinion of course

royals released 3 or 4 times?

we have
07 royals
08 hoh royals which were limited to hoh NY only and an extremely small amount
11s

I don't count the hoh royals because they were so rare which leaves us with just 07s and 11s. its 2013 so a 2015 release seems pretty reasonable to me. All opinion of course.
I have 07s still but wouldn't mind a refresher. I mean honestly, who's to say ill live long enough for another 10 year release? id rather get it while im alive.
 
I can see how u don't want to count 08 but still three times is a lot. The game was different back then so I'm pretty sure they weren't that hard to get compared to now

Trust me. I was around back then and while the hype wasn't there, it just want many pairs to be had. This was when there was only 1 hoh and when actual special shoes used to drop.
If I remember correctly, there was only 75 pairs available. How can you call that a real release?
 
Even with the low numbers if u were in nyc that release was a lot easier to obtain then some of the stuff coming out now. But disregarding that two releases is still too much for me in a short period of time and I dont even own royals
 
guess its a matter of preference. 2 releases in 4 years didn't bother too many people. a lot of people were just happy royals dropped again. its the shoe that started this whole thing. having to wait another 10 years is crucial.
 
I think there was 1 more release that's been forgotten. Either 2010 or 2011. Brown NSW box. I used to have a pair

I remember reading about those rumors of a supposed foam drought. Im glad that didnt occur tho. I love my fighter jets, army pros and safaris. The Phoenix foams are nice too but Im content with my eggplants, otherwise I wouldve copped those as well.

I wouldnt mind an intermission. I'd love for these to finally retro tho.

just the 07s now. i sold off all of my foams except those. haven't been happy with nike and what they've done to them. i used to have doubles of many of them and at one point had every foam 1 that ever released.

the big difference between the 07 and the hoh was that that hoh had an insole with a penny imprinted on it. had a royal lining on the nike check on the lace area, black pattern on the sole, and had an icier sole than the 07s. the 11s were nice because they also had an icier sole but the blues were slightly different. as far as quality goes, the 11s came correct and this was when there was a lot of complains about the quality due to the releases before that (10 eggs, pearls, pewters) having suspect molds and stuff.

Cool I respect it. I thought the ridges on the 07s were weaker though. As far as selling the hoh I woulda never did that. The penny on the inside is sick and the blue on the swoosh ain't bad neither

yea but they sold for like $600 which was crazy money at the time. i just used the money to pay off a credit card and put towards a newer car i wanted. there was a time where i had every shoe i wanted and got bored. i started over with a new perspective. trust me, i used to be one of the biggest foam heads out there.

Yea man, times have changed dramatically in the last couple years. $600 was top dollar for foams back then

for me to cop these foams it has to be $160.00 or less and that has to be $160.00 plus no tax

i low balled a guy on craigslist who had a full size run of these for $215.00

i asked for $180.00 and told him if the coloway was better i would offer you more

i'm sure hes going to be stuck with them for quite a while since stores are sitting on these at retail

i cant remember nike making such a mistake with a marquee sole before
