As bad a deal Mccarthy was. Is as good a deal Anderson was on a 1 yr "show me" deal.

Speaking of international signings:

Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reports the Dodgers will sign Cuban pitcher Yadier Alvarez to a $16 million deal when the international signing period begins Thursday.
Deals can't be consummated until the period officially begins on July 2, so for now it's a handshake agreement. Passan reports the Dodgers are planning to "go huge" during the signing period, with Alvarez representing the biggest feather in their cap. The Dodgers have long been viewed as one of the frontrunners for the hard-throwing 19-year-old.
I don't have much info on this Cuban. But all I see is "19" and "hard throwing".

Mattingly hasn't done Guerrero dirty 
. Guerrero has no options with the glove. Dodgers don't want him anywhere near the infield. Why do fans insist on it? He cant play 3b because the guy playing there is outplaying expectations (Turner), even though Rollins can't hit himself out of a wet paper bag he is a better option defensively.
Guerrero has no glove. No room for him in the OF.
None of the English speaking players like Puig, some (Gonzales) tolerate him, but none like him. He's "new money" and he acts like it. Surprised people are shocked, these rumors have been around for awhile.
Price has to be right. Too talented, too young. Puig is special.

How hasnt he done Guerrero dirty?
Hes should be getting more playing time if he's being showcased to being traded.
He obviously has an AL bat but yet even in situations when Donnie needs a PH he rarely ever goes to him so your excuse of him not having a glove means nothing.
He needs to get some burn in order to get something back.

Dodgers got some prospects from the Braves today. I'm interested in 20 year old Paroubeck who a scout stated has above speed and power but is raw in his skills, also the kid has been receiving personal hitting instructions from Bonds who is friend of his family.

FWIW, Molly Knight's book also has details of teammates mocking Adrian Gonzalez at one point. And, the Yasiel Puig stuff still needs to be taken with a grain of salt IMO.

The flack Puig gets reminds me of the flack Jose Reyes used to get with the Mets. Bunch of nonsense. The guy may have his moments, but he's an electric player.

Don't think everyone hates Puig, and that certainly isn't the picture/angle she paints.
Some of his actions, according to the book, can be tied to the leeway the front office extended him.
