i'm a skinny dude with chicken stick legs, so whatever skinny pants i can get i will get, even though it looks baggy on me.  those are a 29 and the elastic is a life savior.

Anyone have any tips for painting these? I need all black shoes for my new job so I was thinking of getting the black and gamma greys that just restocked on finishling and trying to paint the soles and swoosh. I figured it be quicker and cheaper than ordering an all black pair from Nike iD. The only problem is I've never tried to customizes shoes before.

Can you use spray paint on the mesh? or is that bad?
I don't see why not. If you use the right vinyl/fabric paint spray it should hold. For the project up there I used this:

Amazon product ASIN B000CPIN9S
My only main problem I had with my project up there is that I didn't prep it good enough initially to rub off as much of the wax or whatever was sitting on the split part of the shoe with acetone. I ended up using 2 whole cans on just the pair since the first several coats weren't soaking in all the way.

Taking a cue from back in the days when we used to fix up cars on a budget with friends, we painted our seats, panels, and dash with these vinyl/fabric sprays and as long as you prep properly, it holds its own. Just don't try and wash the Roshes after in the washing machine. LOL

Having said that, I haven't tried to paint the mesh yet directly so I could be completely 100% wrong. LOL

I have some ideas in my head in terms of what I want to do with some IDs but am just holding off until Nike hopefully releases more colorways for the sole instead of spraying the mesh on a currently released pair.

photo uploader mixed up photos, but here you go. along with my "prototypes"
I, too, made some "prototypes"..though I decided to change the color of the lining as I thought it would break up the shoe a little and add some more contrast. Looks way better IMO. They're pretty plain, I know, but they're definitely one of my new favorites.

For those that don't know, these are based on the pair on the right:

Yeah, sorry for the poor quality...iPhone flash kinda washed out the grey color. It's a grey upper though with white sole and white laces (thinking about throwing some white/black ticked laces on them).

Was gonna do these awhile ago before they were announced on NikeID. Excellent man! Ima go an Oreo custom on my Gammas.

How comfy are these? I'm intrested in getting a pair on nike id
I love these. My iD's have been my most worn shoes this summer. I just got a new job where I'll be standing all day so I'm gonna get a pair of all black roshes (all black is required for my job) just to wear to work everyday.

Try to get some opinions.  Thinking of getting the Roshe Run ID in the Yeezy 2 Platinum colorway.  I see most people going with the Neutral grey for both the overlay and toe.  However, I also saw people putting Sail White on the overlay or toe and grey in the other.  Which looks the best in your opinions?  Also, grey in the toe and heel loop or fusion red?

Any help would be appreciated.

How I ended up doing my plats. I think they came out nice.

Nice, I think that is what I'm likely going to do.  With that said, is the general consensus that the two tone (overlay and toe) is not as nice?

Also, opinons on the second lace, between mint and fusion red?  Just curious.  Thanks fam.

Go with whichever lace option you think you will wear.
I went with fusion red laces because I know those will see some use, even if it's not with the Yeezy roshes.
