Nike Air Foamposite One 'Weatherman' $250 MSRP Release 08/30/13

This thread brings the lulz

Aight... which one of you dudes is this?

Forecast says a swagnado is headed to your area

View media item 561621

Dudes talking about the people who don't like the shoe need to keep it moving should take their own advice. You don't like the shoe, you state your opinion and keep it moving. You do like it, do the same. The dudes complaining about people dwelling on the hate are the same dudes spending the most time posting about it.

And anybody who thinks that the dislike for the shoe must be rooted in people who dislike them being "broke" needs to look up the term "cognitive dissonance." A lot of people just think they're ugly. Some people don't. It's not that complicated.

Anybody wanna go out and say these were produced in pearl/cough drop numbers

the amount of pairs each store I been to, has is crazy

a lot of ppl just couldnt afford these or could afford it but just couldnt see themselves spending 250 on a shoe...
I'm keepin my pair,i tried them on with jeans n i love em..
They stand out 4sho..
Ima pass on the thermals as of right now tho..
Too much of that crimson color in the thermals, but as all foams im sure they gon look better in person

I've never bought a single pair of foams but I saw these in store today and I was feeling them! Would never buy em, but props to those who can pull them off.
I felt the same way...

the most expensive shoe I own is prolly some 11s, but like I told the other guy other a car note with perfect credit is around 250 (I guess some of y'all NT'rs don't have a good credit score)...of course you do and spend what you please that's on you I just know I'm not about to drop that much on a shoe period you have to learn to draw a line somewhere

I'm a finance manager at a huge auto group. I see perfect credit every day and payments are no where near 250 unless its a preowned or some entry level vehicle with no powr Windows and locks. You'd need to finance around 16-17 grand at 2 percent to be at 250 for 72 months. Not many cars out there that cheap and you can't get that kind of rate on a used car unless you have a great relationship with a credit union. You're argument sucks.

This shoe is ugly and I wouldn't buy it for 100 bucks but nters credit scores have nothing to do with sneaker purchases.

First off where the hell you work at that financing 16 grand at 72 months will only get you a note at 250.....lemme calculate that for u.....that'll put your payment around 226 a month and most entry level cars are around 16-18k brand new. And since your a finance manager you forgot to mention most banks won't let you finance a vehicle without a down payment....leasing is different. Sad I have to school you on doing your job.

I don't have to be a finance manager to know that, plus it all depends on your state. I'm living in Michigan and leasing a 2013 fusion SE leather seats black coated aluminum
Rims and a sun roofon an A plan and my note is smack on 250....what your saying is somewhat true if someone is buying a used vehicle WITH BAD CREDIT. But that's a whole different ball game from leasing but what I'm saying on here is before that clown jayz4days23 tries to clown someone why don't he get his credit established and get out in the real world before he tries to say some crazy ish like that. STAY IN YOUR LANE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN let the men handle this discussion

Nah you broke and u mad that's all that is  talking about the cost of living. Negro please, where u live at in the D? SMH That's the problem it's broke dudes like you that's mad u couldn't drop the $250 that's all type of dude talking about when these going on sale or let me use your employee discount. LMAO If you're getting money you would have already established yourself to where if u wanted to drop a stack on a shoe it wouldn't be an issue. However clearly u are still in that saved my money up to cop some Team Jordans bracket. LOL Have a nice day sir.
You can tell you one of those ignorant negros from the D....it's fools like you that think that cuz u have it you supposed to spend it. Lemme guess if you have 5k you gone blow it on some 24s? I'm far from broke I'm just not the one to spend money on stupid ish, I rather spend that on an education. Before you try to clown someone on buying some gym shoes I suggest you graduate and live in the real world. You prolly don't have your own crib or car to begin with so let me give u some advice:
1.) stop selling drugs your not scarface nor big meech
2.) Get a real job
3.) get a high school diploma (not hard just need to learn how to read)

I don't have to save money to cop Jordan's I make more than enough money to cop those raggedly foams you just saved your allow allowance up for 3 months to cop. And don't come on the D like that, it's kids younger than you hustling and stacking more than u. I respect that more so than a clown like yourself. It's ok gone and change that diaper of yours.

Oh and by the way, you forgot that a down payment makes a big difference on your car note....so my argument doesn't suck sir. I suggest you look for a new career, selling cars just isn't for u.

So we went from sneakers, to everyone arguing whether or not to buy the shoe, to people arguing over limited or not, no we are getting into peoples credit scores, what they drive, their notes, their APRs, and their rims?

Come on guys... This really isn't necessary at all

(ps - I vote that we go back to having a waiting period before you can post and you're on a type of "probation" the first few months that you're eligible to post, I made a new account after we swapped from YUKU)

perfectly agree with you, all I stated was a small opinion about whether I would buy these or not and fools on here started going ham so I was just defending myself. If some people on here learned how to read, they would've gotten my comment was geared towards Nike charging bill payments for shoes.

Jaydeucetre19, your being way too aggressive about a whole lot of nothing.

If you want to talk cars go here, http://niketalk.com/t/266081/post-your-car-vol-been-a-minute/13300_100.

While $250 may be car note money to you it might not be to others, so your in no position to judge how and what they spend their money on.

Everybody on Nt isn't some dude struggling to cop every release while living in their moms basement.

Your internet flexing on dudes in a 2013 ford fusion. Really??

Excuse me smart *** I was only proving a point about the price of a car and how it's broken down into a payment. Just like you and everyone else that had a comment please **** you say I'm being aggressive yet you throw your 2 cents in. I have the right to defend myself and my opinions and unless the administrator decides to lock this thread and/or kick my off I will say whatever the *bleep* I want to say. End of discussion

BTW it's not Internet flexing moron whether its a fusion or a BMW or an equinox Nike is charging way too much for their shoes now. I guess if some of y'all look in the dictionary it's called an analogy. Lemme simplify it for you

Price of a premium foamposite/ roughly equivalent to the price of a car note
Price of a pair of Jordan's/ higher than two iPhones on contract

I'm merely making a opinion y'all took it out of proportion defending this hot garbage. LIKE I SAID I AM DEFENDING MY OPINION.

Elaborate to the rest of us what you drive and how much your car note is mr. Know it all, we won't judge whether its a smart car or a Prius.

Some of you dudes in here are worse than females. The hate in this thread is certainly at an insurmountable level. I understand this is a forum to discuss opinions on sneakers but some of you will leave your hate post, then come back again to hate some more? :smh: We understand you don't like the shoe, simple. However, now that you have got that off your chest let the people that like the shoe enjoy and have a positive dialogue about them. It's like a chick who will hate on a chick picture on IG and leave tons of comments, like trick we get it your a hater move on. No one told you to click on this thread. If it's a "FLOP" release who cares, I didn't know a shoe not selling well dictated the love for them? It will be the same negros crying on Jordan releases saying "Why did JB make them so limited, I needed these, the hypebeasts and resellers are the worst, I'm quitting the shoe game, blah, blah, blah." Negro kill ya self. Type of negro be in a store with his friends whispering like females about what another negro got on. I wasn't a fan when I saw the first pics months ago but I took a real liking to them seeing them on feet. Again, to each his own, you don't like em cool, keep it moving.

I rest my case with the bold print on this dude

All Umphs aside... of my 12 years on niketalk, easily one of the most futile and exasperating threads i've ever seen
(that, or like my horizontal nature - i'm just too casual with my frequency and browsing of this site).

First and foremost, the pink foams, the mustards... way more ostentatious than this shoe (not that these Weathermans aren't, don't get
me incorrect, but they are much more busy and perhaps, if i could say it - discombobulating).

From a conceptual point of view, they are directly in line with the bold and bar-raising that we have come to expect from nike since
last years All Star pack.

Let's be reality, August 2013 was a dense month for shoe releases; FR3, half a dozen Kobe's, Gamma Barkley's, Fear Pack, Green Glow
Shaq Attaq, FR 5, Mutombo's (which, surprisingly sold well/out), Arby's 5 for 5 Roast Beef and Cheddar, etc. coupled with the fact that
very many were produced (and let's not skimp over the idea that 250 before tax and/or shipping isn't a meager amount by any means),
detracted your typical buyer... and the honchos over at nike's forecast division couldn't predict this perfect storm for sizable catastrophe.

If the weatherman saw this coming, he would have said,

Regardless of those who copped or shunned, expect a high chance of deliberation and disputing with a possible trace of excessive
matching at the grocery sto'...

...right at the packed meat section.

I'm weak at the grocery store part lol lol lol

Think one of those modded honda that the mexican guys drive where its souped up with every household item attached on the exterior

with a vinyl-cut Jumpman/Swoosh on the backglass, for instance
).

Arby's 5 for 5

This topic brought the lulz

Most of us buy multiple sneakers in a month, heck, a lot of us did this weekend. Simmer down with that people can't afford them talk.

#dead at the Arby's lol....but you right....most of us got hit hard with the Jordan's and the kds...not to mention motumbos and big Sean Adidas....and cats around here saying people broke or they can't afford a $250 shoe. I never said I couldn't, all I said was I wouldn't. If they were the galaxies hell yes I would cop, but they're not. But I guess people want to say that we hating on the shoe and what not but all I gotta say is the main ones hating is the same ones when this post first started saying these we're lame, then ended up copping them when they say DJ Envy wearing them
