Matte whites still dope af. I think nike might try a solo dolo mission and release the hawk joints in all of it's glory. Proper piping and all. They always make things off then all of sudden get it right. They trying to get you to buy both. Eggplants and coppers are overdue. Pro grails are coming back with some extra goodies. My wallet can wait...
 
Crazy story. Wifey orders the pack for me through the app. She calls Nike because she still hasn't gotten a shipping email. Nike says no the order just got processed today and will be to you on the 28th. No problem. About 730 we get a knock on the door, boom there is the package. I don't know what's going on but I have been wearing the pearls. So clean.

I was able to stroll in to my local FTL n came across a returned sz. 12 Holo. Usually hate to cop @ retail but not a frequent shopper at FTL for obvious reasons. N I just got VIP status. This is great pickup tho for one of my 1st Foams good pairing with the under retail GF. B sage y'all.

Oh can sumbody please do a sharpie black stripe mock up of these 2 pair for me and the gold Foams w/gum bottoms. TY so much ? God bless.

Difference in color is pretty obvious. However, over time, the white foams typically become "dingy" and yellow, so that could also alter their current appearance. I recall the 2002 pair being quite white, like this years release, when I got them back in the day...

Took the words right out of my mouth. I too remember the OG and the 02 being very white. The oxidation on the OG's and 02 pairs is gonna make it very hard to get an exact comparison with the new pair.


Always gonna remember seeing them for the first time in SLAM!

im not debating what they originally looked like, as i didnt care for them back then and dont recall at all. but i do know what they all look like now and what the new release looks like in hand.... old pairs are now cream/off white and the new pair is simply white.

Y'all making me regret passing on the pack.

$275 for holos is a great price IMO.

The price of Foams/limitedness has always turned me off. It's an awesome shoe aestheticly and even performance wise so if I get em on disco that would peak my interest even more. Retail is ok on the Holo's tho time will tell. Instant classic both of dem. Very pleased.

Likewise I managed to get both of mine on discount. The last foam I paid retail + was the Yeezy foams.

People used to not mind the price of foams (before they were $250) because we knew they were tanks. You could get your money's worth and still can for the most part.

your camera shows the "pearliness" of the2015, thanks for the pic i am happy
with these pearls they arent straight up flat white like some said...
 
Pearl or flat white, it doesn't matter to me. I'm in need of white foams anyways especially without the poor finish the all white and white Gucci foams have.
 
When I pulled the 2010's out to take the picture, I was shocked at how poorly they have aged. Used to wear them all the time to try and keep my 2002 decent. Havent worn them in probably 2 years. The foam has almost turned to a rose gold color.
