* Official Nike Air Zoom Generation * Lebrons first Retro - DATE TBA

The midsole isn't the issue for me, the plastic pieces look maroonish to me.

The smooth leather looks like crap here or am I wrong?

It does look like crap but IMO thats how the veggie tan leather is untreated. Literally waiting to soak up any moisture, sun, or dirt to develop the patina. My Vachetta 1's started out really stiff and dry looking like that. Basically it's a good thing. It's not a color way, it's the actual leather

Edit: how mine look like now. No leather treatment

I think they look fine, cannot see why anyone would think otherwise.

They have naturally aged very well. I prefer this look.

I'm not sure the LeBron has the same type of leather, hard to tell.

I think the tans look different in every photo I see.
I really have to see these in person to determine if I like them.

I'll try to purchase them via the sweepstakes and SNKRS.

If I win and don't like I'll simply return.

Hey, what's that white shoe to the right with the flyknit sock?

What does it have to do with the (4) other tan shoes?
Just a new model representing the style of sneakers of today. Each model represents a different decade in basketball footwear. Blazer -70's AF1 -80's Foamposite -90's AZG 00's and the Zoom Bonafide for the 10's. It has vachetta tan leather on the heel for the zipper. I think they used a different upper to show an evolution and style and design from the past. Separating the present/future from the past.

You paid $225 over the MSRP, why are you surprised?

Seller may have needed the money.

A lot of resellers need to move inventory quick. They don't have the funds to sustain holding inventory. Buy and sell and on to the next release.
