It Was Hard Gauging Interest In The Sagas Up To Release. I Feel Like Most Comments I Read Were About The GLV.


Would've Been Nice To See A Similar Color Scheme As The Sagas On A GLIII Silhouette :pimp:

Wanna know why this release became so "limited" all of a sudden? We can blame ourselves lol talking junk about how easy we could all cop in a forum dedicated to the brand Hahahaha Ronnie pulled the rug out from under us quickly ... Wouldn't be surprised if there was a kithstrike for these in the next couple months...

cuz all the new guys all of a sudden turned experts.

and they all said "ronnie washed".

product may not be top tier anymore, but his marketing just grows better and better.
 
I got what I wanted from the kith x DSC release this morning but a buddy of mine ran into some bad luck when he had a family emergency to deal with during the drop. I couldn't help him during the release because he didn't tell me about what happened until hours after when it was too late. Anyway, anyone get an extra pair of the sagas in a 10.5 they care to part with for near retail? PM me and I'll share his contact info.
 
Probly a couple moles in here that instigated those talks hahaha then ran back and told Ronnie everything... After all he did say this in a recent interview "It’s good to shake sh*t up and do the unexpected. I love the turbulence" while he's home with the rest of the stock in his closet lol
 
Ronnie Fieg + Diamond Supply brings out the casual and seasoned sneaker/skaters collectors. Always work hard for releases you really want. Wasn't surprised with the hype, was similar to the Nike x DSC Dunks.

that was on a level that changed/shifted alot of things in the community.

I don't remember the Dunk Highs were bad, but not this bad. Guess it was because of larger production numbers.

But I agree, if you want a sneaker, go all out and put in the work. Put it in your mind that it'll be a difficult purchase no matter what.

Agree that RF and Diamond Supply collab brings about a collision of two large fan bases.
 
dunk highs were wayyyy worse than this.

this was one of the easiest "limited" releases I've taken part in.

you had kith which was sturdy.

you had the app which worked easily.

and you even had time to go back to diamond if you struck out on kith because nobody was able to purchase until after kith sold out.

I carted a pair of sagas a little before 1pm eastern.

if you had a plan or even tried there was no reason for this to be difficult.

People who got their pairs: "easy release, no problems, a lot in stock, if you failed it's your fault."

People who didn't get their pairs: "crazy release, too many problems, super limited, I did all I can but still struck out."

Different release, same statements.

Experiences are always subjective.

Was it hard to cop online today? I added to cart on mobile at like 8:03 on some wack 4g

KithNYC was all OOS 15 or so minutes after release time.  A lot of people flourished on there without any problems.  

DSCo site was down/crashing even before 8am PST; constant error messages and pages timed out.  People who were able to purchase off DSCo were refreshing constantly and some were able to get through, while others couldn't.  DSCo was OOS by 10AM PST thanks to all their site problems.
 
I got mine from DSC around 1 pm .. site kept crashing but i kept trying and eventually got through .. just got my email confirmation last night around 10:30 PM or so

I couldn't get through on DSCO's site until around 11:40 EST. site finally loaded on desktop. Added the GLV to my wish list and then added to cart. Didn't work at first but tried 1 more time and it went through. This was one of the times that niketalk's threads helped majorly and made what was to be a hard cop a surprisingly easy one. Same thing happened for me with the De La Lows on CCS.

I think a lot of people forgot that the shoe was releasing on DSCO's site and some of those who did gave up when the site first started to go down.
 
Yea my plan was the DSC site first. Was on my way to work and pulled over in to a gas station right at 11am eastern. Tried but the page wouldn't load, so I quickly went to the kith app and tried. Saw a ton of sizes for both and thought to myself "oh man this is gonna be easy", got to cart and then inventory issues. Kept trying to refresh and backed out and saw like 3 sizes left in the glv and no sagas. I thinking I had went straight to the app I would have been fine.
Kept trying to refresh DSC on my phone the rest of the way to work. Was gonna give up but stayed on it at work thanks to the post from other niketalk users saying they were getting through. And the advice from user to do the wish list thing is what worked for me. Took an hour after release for the glv and another hour for the saga BUT worked!

Was my first time trying to use the app. You guys have success with that or better from a deskto? asking for for future releases.
 
someone posted the stock amounts for both sagas and the glv before they dropped the sagas were significantly more limited, I think that's why so many more people struck out tbh

Literally went on nike and added to cart and checked out for dunk highs. I don't see how anything that sells out in 5 minutes can be wayyyyy worse than another. You get it or you don't. If you're not quick, chances go down.
 
I'm a little bit confused about which sets of laces come with the Gel Lyte Vs. Can anyone clear this up for me? I've heard mixed answers on whether or not they come with rope laces. Thanks!
