Santi I had notice ya pics a few pages back... I like the Cig buds and the Chips shot. Think I will still try to do the macro tonight too then.

Maybe we should have called it Macro/Close Up images... then more would have participated.

I won't lie trying to think of "unique" or creative Macro is a bit difficult (at least for me) because lots of shots are common... like one"idea" I had was a macro of a match (lit, burning, burnt, etc)... but browsing flickr, its been done a million times. SO it was back to the drawingboard. Hopefully I can come up with something. Homework will be late again.

But I like having assignments.... so let's keep them coming.

Off Topic, I have a similar light in my bedroom and when messing with the cam (shutter speed, Aperture) I took a similar picture too.

I never did a macro and I dont have a dedicated Macro lens, but I did do some and here they are ....

I still dont know if this qualify as Macro ...

Damn....I got hurt and banged up skating so didn't have the motivation to shoot a macro (damn.....seems like school!) Anyways....maybe in the next coupleof days if I can get back on that high horse.

Almost pulled the trigger on a D90 kit for 1180 which was the best deal I've found so far but figured I'd hold off and wait to see if that might dropsoon.

^^^^MAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan... waiting to see what might drop soon... something always bound to drop soon, that's why I just cop'd it and nolooking back eefff it! Not mad either, I enjoyed it, so much to learn and mess with on the D90. Trust me, I'm sure something will drop soon with betterfeatures, longer HD recording capabilities (minus the Jello effect) etc etc etc that will drop the value of my D90 but SO WHAT (LOL)... I'll just keepusing it then or if I feel the need to upgrade I worry about it then too... never ending circle.

I will never wait to see what drops .. I got the 5D which is like I dont know how many years old and Ill keep that thing over D90 D50 and anything out thereright now .. Exept a 5D II

You guys see the new Canon point and shoots? Almost all of them shoot 720 HD videos. So aside from the DSLR having lenses to interchange, the HD video thingwill be normal on almost every camera.

I am even thinking about copping this as my pointshoot to have aside from the DSLR. I don't need no bulky thing like a G10 and I heard this thing is super small and packs a punch for what it is.

that looks good.. i need a new point and shoot... i have an HP R967 which is like 4 years old... i mean imo i've never had any prob with HPP&S... that's all i've ever had up tot his point.. but everyone who has a Canon seems so much happier...it'll be an upgrade for me and help theeconomy

I am not going to lie.....the HD thing is cool but I do need a alternate camera just for easier use. As for the pink.......please! Haha!. Naw though....I wouldget the black joint over the red. I googled that camera and that was the first one that came up....and I am bit just saying that to hide my%*#%-cidal-tendencies.

I'd like to see someone get a Canon MP-E65 and post some macros on here, haha.

Anyway, here's a comparison between Photobucket and Flickr using a recent shot. Flickr is far more organized for viewing but Photobucket is a lot moreconvenient when it comes to just hosting photos.

when i saw it i thought it was in the same exact spot but yours is like 20 feet or so more towards Manhattan. i like it tho, just seems clearer
