I like this......not so much cause it's another shot of some herb but the whole grainy feel adds to the content. Seems like something you would see in anold 90's hip-hop album or some 70's documentary on drugs in america. Looks dope......

Some Spring Break stuff. C&C is more than welcome. I know I give out C&C but rarely have something to show for C&C on my end.

Coverted to B/W due to graininess and noise and ended up liking the end result better. Cloudy cloudy day in South Florida.

I was on the fence about posting in this thread not knowing if I'll get a response but here goes....

I'm looking to buy a zoom lens as well as a wide angle lens for my D40
I found this Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6G AF Telephoto Zoom Lens for 140.00 on Adorama.com but I'm not sure if it'll fit on my camera because I was told tomake sure the lens is AF-I or AF-S.

Will this fit on my D40?

^ i have that lens. it's ok. you need a lootttt of light for it to perform well. it's pretty slow

i'm sure it'll fit, but it wont auto focus.

BTW, for the guy asking for the D90 - I'm sure you can find one on eBay for way less than 1000k actually if you take the 12% cashback that's beingoffer you might find one for about 750-850 BODY Only ....

its more money but if your working with the d40 i'd recommend the af-s 70-300mm VR

unless your trying to get some bird shots or something why the 70-300mm VR? i'd recommend over that the 55-200mm VR, its faster, lighter, smaller, andcheaper

All the reviews look good and some people even posted their own shots. The second to last review on that page by "Corky" confirms thatthere is no AF on his D40 with this lens. As for a wide angle, you really can't go wrong with the kit lens: 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. I use it for almosteverything. As for the zoom lens, it seems great, but everyone I've discussed telephoto lenses with (for my D40X) has said that the 55-200mm VR lens iswhere it's at. Hope that helps, fam.

Is CMOS really that much better than APS-c ????

i NEED a truthful answer on this. Im looking at an a700 sony to replace my already sold a300. I sold the a300 with a flash + 28mm prime lens for 700, and acamera I found

for another 135 to use for this purchase.

I could just buy another a300 for like 385 on ebay then a flash for 200 with my discount and have this money left over..but I wanna know if CMOS is worth itfor real ? The a700 also has DOF preview and 5fps, plus is weathersealed
