whats the better program to enhance colors ? CS3 or Lightroom. i shoot in RAW.

just got cs4, don't really see the need to upgrade from cs3 unless you're shooting RAW from a nikon, you can now work with .nef files. All my scipts Ihad from cs3 don't work on this newer photoshop tho :/

Hey Fongstarr, or anyone with a D90.

Have you guys ever compared it to Canon's 50D? If so, which do you think is better?
I'm stuck in between the two.

DJ Bana: From Miami?

Santi: 3rd shot on p. 553 looks like tilt-shift. Very nice job on that peeking around the corner look. I dig. And no, the tag isn't too much. I'd do iton soft light and change the font color to white when you can, though. Also, needless to say, the 240 is

^ just my 2cents, but seems like ur just throwing up random pics to contribute

yea, the pics are pretty sharp with the flash on and all, but the pics arent really eye catchy,

what ive been trying to do more lately is... find the shot i want, before just start snapping away i spend a quick minute and see if i could compose the shotinto something interesting

I really don't know. I guess it just depends on the user and what and how they want to shoot. The obviously thing is that the D90 has video and the 50Ddoesn't but as far as quality of photos, I guess you are comparing lenses more so then cameras. If you want my opinion on the D90, it has been more thengreat ever since I bought it and has been a solid camera throughout. As far as lens choices, I really don't see myself getting expensive L lenses likeCanon has, so all the DX lenses for the cropped Nikon's have been great so far.

I think if you can, try and play with both cameras at a store to get a feel of what they do. Also take into mind (not sure if people do) the size, weight andbuild of the camera as well. I think after getting my camera that I will never go back to getting small little Rebels or D40s. I really like a medium/largecamera now.

use something square in between the stripped areas. once you get it off hit up a camera shop and get a new one.

the camera has a needle meter? if so, use the 'sunny 16 rule' if you cant get the battery cover off. (google it)

thanks, this is in LA. its a historic square built around the oldest adobe house in LA.

bana, thanks. i was admiring your work with the strobes. there's a couple of sunset shots where you did a great job on softening your model's skin.
