A couple of pics i took this weekend at ETD POP.

That middle pic is awesome. Always wanted to shoot at a concert.

Yeah for real dude.....I don't read import mags like I used to but Quick's pics are way better then most I used to see. Dude should be a workingphotographer on one of those mags.

does anybody have experience with the gorillapod tripods? or the variants on ebay? thinking about getting one, but if the $5 generic ones work just as welli'll just pick that up.

i have a problem:
need some help..

so i was importing pictures into iphoto, the process was done, and you know how at the end it'll say
" do you want to delete the selected pics off the camera"
i pushed yes..so this was taking FOREVER, i forced the program to quit
but none of the pictures are in iphoto?

is there anyway to recover those pictures??

Man...I hate to say it but it must be gone. I mean you can check the iPhoto folders and see if there are any hidden there that aren't showing in iPhoto butI don't see any other way around it. That sucks. If i don;t extract my harddrive right, I might lose everyphoto I have ever taken since I owned a digitalcamera back in 2003. Back up all your files for those that think Mac's are immune to problems.

If you remember any of the filenames, do a full scan/search for them. Check any and all "Recent Files" folders and stuff like that. Check yourRecycle Bin, too (that's what they were made for, after all). If all else fails, I think Cameta Camera has a photo recovery software that they throw in insome of their packages that's supposed to work pretty well. Good luck!

Congrats, Quick! I used to love that mag, but now I mostly just check it out for the photos.

This was my view, since spectators weren't allowed any closer. I got really excited when i got there because the lighting was great. They took forever tostart and the sun just hid from me slowly.

So, I've decided to stop looking for the 35/1.8 and grab a zoom with a constant f/2.8 aperture instead.

Since I don't have the big $ to drop on the Nikkor 17-55mm, I'll most likely settle with the Tamron 17-50/2.8.

Anyone have any experience with that lens and its image quality?

Quick did you change kicks somewhere in between shoots? LOL .. Jordans, yous a pheen ... lol

mjbetch - Thanks man. I can't ever see a reason to take it off hahaha (kind of kidding)
Apollo XXXIII - From what I've heard, the Tamron 17-50 is a GREAT lens, and a good value. I have seen some great results with it with super sharp images. Iam thinking of getting one to replace me kit lens. Not anytime soon though, I'm happy with my new fisheye for now

The 35 is in stock everywhereeeeee!

... I think.

Rawk On:

Not bad man, They seem underexposed. Also, when taking shots of things in motion and you want them to look like they're actually moving, use slower shutterspeeds. What I did, was set the camera in shutter priority mode, and locked the shutter at 1/50 and the camera picked the aperture for a proper exposure.
