Some black and whitesfrom yesterday........at the infamous Pier 7 skate spot. Someone's deknobbing the slabs again...

^Was going to say the same thing. Quite a few with questionable compositions and exposures but the tonal range (part what creates the warmth) is absurdly nice.I really think b/w digital should be a crime, like you should go to jail for taking them, b/w film looks so so much nicer... Kodak film FTW!

@ebay

So true dude. Black and white on digital is flat. Pretty much why some pros will never give up their film bodies. Sharing some random film shots with a 1979Minolta slr and a 50mm lens (fungus included):

Brought it to Kodak and had them scan and burn to disc bro. It's hit and miss for me since i still didn't know much about shutter speed,aperture, etc. but that's the beauty of film really. Every shot should be well thought out since you can't delete and retake.

Krispy S O B - dope flicks, for some reason i could picture your stuff like in a book or something. haha

ps does anyone know of any good HDR tutorials?

I went to the NY Auto Show yesterday which was a great opportunity to take some quality pictures. I took the typical shots, but for a few shots, I went for the"wallpaper" look. I took way too many pictures, but here are a few of my favorites:

Hyundai Genesis (yes, I was very excited about this car)

Nissan GT-R (The reflections on the car kinda ruins it...)

Audi A5 - Took me a good five minutes to get this shot because of the mass number of people who were looking at the car

And finally, my personal fave...the S5.

C&C is more then welcome.

"Where is this? Looks beautiful, like some Rivendell type @@%$. kind of. lol"

Taken in Penang (Malaysia) on top of a hill where there happened to be a temple at about 6 in the morning, it's a shrine I believe, I was tempted to removethe plastic water bottle but thought it might be sacriligous or something

I think imo, film cameras capture natural lighting better. With some digital, it just seems generic. My roomate uses a 35mm camera and she was shooting inalmost pitch black lighting and the pictures came out so nice and had a certain element that digital will never have. Cool pics......
