I think he addressed it once. He said he likes the "Grain"
i think the grain adds to the photo and almost makes it look like film. the photographer i posted about earlier, miami fever,
shoots his lowlight pics at High 2 on a 5D and they come out very grainy.... but it adds to the feel of the picture.
the last set of photos i took were all shot at 1600 in lowlight, with the aperture at the lowest it could go, f/4- along with custom monochrome settings.
to each and their own, everyone does different things. but, if youre using high iso in bright light, thats just silly.
