Yeslol I know so who's cooking the mexican food on the east coast? haha asians?
I am from the east bay, I love the east bay, especially Oakland, but it doesn't make much economic sense to keep professional sports teams in Oakland. Technology has brought a ton of $$$$$ to the Silicon Valley, so much that the economic powerhouse of the bay area is really the Silicon Valley, the East Bay doesn't hold a candle to it, and even SF, is mainly just a tourist hub and entertainment focal point for the bay area. The best, brightest, and the richest, mainly are found in the Silicon Valley. As the 49ers did with Santa Clara, it makes a lot of sense for most teams to move to the Silicon Valley (economically.) The A's should do it, and I could see the Raiders doing it too. I go too a lot of A's games and Raiders game and NOTHING is going on in the surrounding areas of the coliseum, it's really sad. Would love to see them expand Jack London, but I just don't see the rich guys from the South Bay making their way up. Sad too cause the East Bay has the BEST fans anywhere, the ones that do come out and support, but numbers wise, the A's and Raiders have some of the lowest attendance ratings of all sports teams in the country, because none of the band wagon, casual fans come out.......teams need that to stay in business. The City of Oakland has bent over backwards for the Raiders. They let the Warriors go to SF. They will fight to keep the Raiders in Oakland

Idk why you're putting the Silicon Valley on a pedestal. Yea the Silicon Valley is an economic powerhouse but San Francisco is still the regions economic hub. To say San Francisco is mainly just a tourist/entertainment hub is wrong. There are nearly as many tech and information jobs in the city of San Francisco as there are in the Silicon Valley.I am from the east bay, I love the east bay, especially Oakland, but it doesn't make much economic sense to keep professional sports teams in Oakland. Someday the state of Kentucky will get some sort of professional representation.
