Anyone else heard those rumors about the buffalo bills moving to Toronto?
yep....just a bunch of BS....I have no problem with the Bills playing games at Toronto Roger Centre, but I don't want them to permanently move to Toronto because it would be like Seattle/OKC all over again.

By the way, the argument that a team won't move to Vegas because of a scandal (or something nefarious) is dumb. You think a team (or individual) has to be in Vegas for something like that to happen?

It's not dumb. Don't be so harsh. It wouldn't be one of the main reasons, but the threat would still exist.

I heard Kemp on the radio the other day talking about this exact issue. He said he hasn't been to an All-Star game since the one in Vegas. He said that from the second he got to the airport, but mainly at the game, it was uncontrollably crazy. I think that would be a big reason for sure. All the drunk *** visitors wanting to take in a game...Chaos!

I was at that all star game in vegas, it was crazy on the strip. Traffic not moving at 3-4 am in the morning. People playing craps on the bridges. The whole city running out of hennesy. LOL

I'm not denying the threat won't exist, but I don't think it's heightened just because a team is there.

Also, using that weekend as an example is terrible. You really think 41 nights a year The Strip is going to be like that for some bottom-feeder NBA team? Come on.

Why you so damn condescending?

but mainly at the game, it was uncontrollably crazy

The story about Kemp at the all-star game was a prelude to saying that the games could be out of control and that he has also gone on record saying it would be a bad idea to put a team there. Everyone getting drunk and deciding to head to a basketball game? No good. It has nothing to do with the strip so calm your *** down.

And just in case you wanted to go there, you can't tell me that people mingling and drinking before a game anywhere else is the same as dudes in a drunken stupor or drugged up all weekend deciding to go crazy at a basketball game, because its not.

It's usually easy to spot the guys that have gone a little overboard with the pregame drinking...In Vegas it'll be magnified intensely and would make for a much more dangerous and uniniviting spectacle.

the raiders can stay in the bay area, the only people that want the raiders in LA is the small amount of raider fans still around in LA

drunk fans in vegas wouldnt be that huge of a deal

-summer leauge games

-UFC fight weekends

-Huge boxing weekends

-Team USA games

-college football Bowl games

-Conference tourtment bball games

-Kings and lakers preseason games

-Huge award shows, concert, etc, etc , etc

have all been held in vegas for years and was under control, that all star weekend was just something different and that you didnt see before in vegas and havent seen it since. all star weekend is already huge in most citys, but when the put it in vegas the triple amount of people came that year. you wont see that for 41 games. maybe friday-sunday night games you would(for a bball team) but the rest of the week you would be fine

But you're essentially trying to equate the Super Bowl to a Week 10 regular season game. I've been to sporting events in Vegas. They're no different from a sporting event anywhere else. Just because the entire hood and a country full of groupies rolled through in one weekend doesn't mean it's going to be like that all the time.

I wasn't trying to equate, so if that's how it came off, then I apologize for blurring my perspective. It's simply the atmosphere and behaviors that are common in Vegas no matter what's going on that I'm talking about.

What sporting event have you been to? It's a fair point, but bringing in a sports team for one of the big time professional sports leagues is much different then say a Pac 12 tournament. The appeal would be much greater.

 FOH there are still a lot of people in LA and around it that want the Raiders back. Don't get mad you only get to see your clown team in far away *** Oxnard in the summers.

NFL teams use the threat of moving to La to **** over their current cities....nfl will prob never put a team there for that reason

this. if LA gets a team, where will owners threaten to move their teams to if the city doesn't empty its pockets?

bobcats need to relocate to seattle, pretend it never happened. move the new orleans hornets back to charlotte. :pimp:

LA is getting a nfl squad. No doubt
And when might that happen?
