^ Yep. They restocked on a bunch of shoes (Jordan, Sportswear, Nike Basketball, SBs). I ignored everything else and went straight for the Clays first, though I'm in line for the Concord 11 Lows. I'm probably just going to pass on the 11s so I won't lose the Clays.

Does NDC have any free 2-day shipping codes right now? Nevermind.

All gone. Sort of wanted to get another pair Lavas but oh well....one pair is fine.

Although this makes me worry a bit about the Royal/Inf release. I'll be on my release game regardless, but I don't want to deal with a bunch of hype BS.
 
Just copped my size 11.5 of the clays from the restock on Ndc and used the $25 gift card they gave me , I did have to hit refresh around 100 times though
 
I remember the Wimbledon's sat for a few days on the pro-direct site. Nike employees had no idea that they released plus even though they certainly looked legit, it was strange that such a random website got them and nobody else.

Funny how when they first surface, we were all (I was anyway) surprised... it was so unexpected and came out of nowhere.  It felt rather random to me as well.  Didn't make much sense.

Yup I contacted Nike and they had no clue if they were legit or releasing. I just debated on whether I should spend the $200 on them at the time. Plus I had a really hard time getting over the green and white, reminded me too much of a celtics colorway.

I'm stuck on getting one of the clay re-stocks to put on ice OR ebay the royal/checkers in fear that I may not get them if they come state-side because of the hype tards. Decisions decisions. Does anyone have suggestions for a reliable ebay seller for the royals?? Thank you.

I honestly think the "hype tards" only care about the Lavas (and Grand Slams for resale purposes). Royals shouldn't be too much of a problem, imo, especially if you are checking this thread.

I think they have the possibility to be difficult but not close to the hot lava release even tho the royals are a QS
 
So II's and Hybrids this year, then III's and IV's next year? Nike are *****. I really can't see both III's and IV's dropping in the same year. It's gonna be 2016. [emoji]128530[/emoji]

I'd buy Hybrids for ÂŁ30 as outrageous beaters. Actually scratch that. I'd NEVER buy Hybrids. Whoever though those up needs to get some beats with those heavy-*** Jordan VIII's.

In Agassi's defense, I found it ironic that Jimmy blasted him for his lack of love for the game when it's well known how much Connors gambled. He would skip grand slams because of grudges.

I haven't read Connors' book, but I think it started with Agassi saying how Connors was a bit of jerk in his book.  I don't remember the specifics, but I think it was something along the lines of when they met/played in the '89 USO.  But if Connors actually read Open (I have a feeling he didn't), he would have known it was about Agassi's journey from hating tennis early on in his career.. to understanding himself and ultimately embracing the sport & playing on his own terms.  Towards the end he addresses how it gave him the life he has today and loves the game.  

On a sidenote, I don't know about the specifics and context of it, but didn't Connors comment on details of Chris Evert's abortion?  Exposing someone's intimate details like that?  Says a lot about the guy.  She certainly didn't appreciate it. 
 
Agassi's dad used to string Connors racquets when Andre was a child. Andre would then bring the racquets out to Jimmy. So before he whooped Connors in the 88 Open (he also beat him in the 89 Open again) he went up to shake Jimmy's hand and tell him the story. Jimmy didn't acknowledge Andre at all. If you've seen the match in 88 you can see even Mcenroe was envious of Agassi when Andre immitates Mcenroe's serve, they show Mcenroe in the crowd all angry.
