speaking from expeience... its fun to drink.. dont get wasted. hand them drinks (if you had a cabana/ table) to girls and passerbuyers

I enjoy the day parties more than the night clubs and hold nothing back. I've never missed a night club bc of day drinking but I've come close.

In the middle of the summer I make sure to drink hella water to prevent dehydration but not to prevent getting wasted :lol:

The fruity pitcher at EBC is amazing. Be careful tho cuz they can creep up on you. The sun/heat at day parties is the real villain.

From what I remember the waitress can hold the bottles (not actual bottles, but plastic things OJ, Soda, Cranberry come in). Since daybeds are out in the open people try to latch on when it gets busier.

I've got wasted at my first day party. Couldn't even sip alcohol that night. Waste of 3 bottles.

Now I just get a clean buzz and try to maintain. Its after I leave the day party that makes me feel the dehydration, but I have solutions for that.

SD is great

Did MDW last year in PB with E and some other folks and it was epic

To continue the day party talk you do have to know your limits. You never want to be the guy throwing up or passing out. In addition to hydrating before and during I also make sure to have a solid breakfast beforehand

Or pre drink in the car and then throw up in the parking lot. Lol u will be set!!!

Hey guys,

Going to be there the weekend of July 11th with 10 ladies (they need me for the comped rooms lol). Where can we get a decent deal for a pool party that Saturday? Trying to keep it less expensive since they have lots of other plans that weekend but having a daybed/couch sounds very appealing to me in that summer heat.

Where are you going to be hanging out? It's my wife's cousin's bachlorette weekend and my wife is kind of in charge of the Vegas trip since we go 4-6 times a year. I'm trying to help with some of the plans since I know some of you guys have connections. Do you know what kind of options we have that weekend?

Man... I need to come in this thread more.. I'm always too busy working to realize how many of you guys are in town on trips. Once I drop my second job, I think I'll try and kick it with everyone who comes down. But yeah a summit here is needed!

Yeah haha, as long as you stay away from my wife the rest of them are fair game. A pool party that Saturday sounds great as long as the price is reasonable for 11-12 people. They have all these other plans already like pole dancing classes and spa dates so we're not looking to break the bank on the pool party alone.

Any pool party will do, don't think any of them are too picky. Any chance Drai's has deals on their cabanas? I loved it there during their nightclub when 50 was performing MDW.

We will be at Tao Beach (which IMO is much better).

Cabana will be 1500 but u can spend on food and drinks.

That's not too bad. $150 per person with tip for food and drinks sounds doable. I'll run it by them to see if they're good with that. I'm the only one of the group that doesn't drink so it's good to know I'll be able to enjoy myself with food and shade in the cabana.

we already have one that day so it would be perfect. Or get a daybed next to us.
 
What are places to eat you guys recommend. Think we are going to try and hit a buffet and was thinking Wicked Spoon. Also In N Out at least once. Everyone says Earl of Sandwich but I'm not big on sandwiches to be honest, rather have secret pizza across the street. Also heard of a steak special at Ellis Island for Steak, green beans, baked potato, and a 22oz beer for like $9 that we might check out for the novelty.

Just trying to find out what you guys like eating when down there or any must check out places. Last trip we survived on pizza and Chipotle all weekend with Pho each morning, need to switch it up a bit haha
 
So it's almost 99% that I'll be going on the 10th-13th with a couple of my homies. Going to try and link up with some of you guys since it looks like a lot of NT will be in town that weekend. Also going to try and catch at least one of the Summer league games, but NBA doesn't have the schedule for the Lakers playing up yet.

Try holsteins. Good burger, not great but the ambience is cool.

I really don't eat. That time can go to raging. :lol:
