Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Do you think staying at certain hotels help you access clubs?
I believe so. However, I just went Super Bowl weekend got into all the clubs free. Went to 5 or so. Was getting stopped while walking the strip (club promoters) Miguel, Tyga, Big Sean etc...... We're performing at the clubs I attended.

Thanks for the info. Been to Vegas a few times, but only to golf. Never really hit up any of the clubs so I'm clueless. What's the dress code like for most clubs on the strip?

My boys bachelor party is coming up in less than 2 weeks. Staying at the Mirage, gonna be 9 of us. So far we're just on the list at 1Oak, hitting up the ATV's since that's what the groom wanted to do and dinner Saturday night at Lawry's (not my choice). Took the advice from some in here and didn't book strippers, gonna do a "part 2" the night before the wedding in Atlanta and do the full stripper hotel party that he wanted since it'll be a lot cheaper. Any other ideas? Will the pools be open? The Mirage wouldn't let me book a cabana at their day party pool so I'm guessing it won't be open

Pool season starts 2nd week of March I think to coincide with Spring break.

Gonna be in Vegas may 26th-29th for Memorial Day weekend. Tips on the best pool parties or how to go about renting a cabana for the day. Been to Vegas twice and been to all the clubs but never during pool season. Gonna be about 10 of us so everybody throwing down shouldn't be a problem.

Pool parties
EBC is the best. Wet Repub and MDC are also good.

Best deals to be had are probably at Tao Beach Club and Drais but everything is going to be overpriced MDW

Depends on the club. For example, staying at Caesar's isn't going to get you far in terms of getting into Omnia. Same with MGM and Hak. I know the Wynn has passes for hotel guests to Surrender and XS. You get them at the concierge, but I think there's still a charge (basically, discount admission). A Cosmo room card gets you (and a +1, I believe) into Marquee for free any night except Saturday (yes, even Friday).

May 19th-22. Thurs-Sun. Budget? Not sure yet, but some in the group wanna get some tables.

It all depends on how much you're willing to spend. For example, Friday or Saturday at XS, to even be inside it's probably a $2,000 minimum and a $500 shake to the host (especially on Saturday). Add gratuity on top of that, and you're looking at $3,000. And that's for a back wall table, at best.

Some clubs, with a large host tip, you could probably swing a B1G1, even on a Friday. Just get in contact with hosts and ask. Any good host is honest and up front about costs, and the days of bait and switches and table bumping are long gone.

Anyone ever stay at the Linq?

I stayed there last September. It was whatever. Had a regular room. Good location for me because the only club I hit that trip was Omnia which is right across the street. Pool was chill. They had a DJ and pretty decent bar down there. There was a group of people playing beer pong by the pool and they had floating beer pong tables so you could play in the pool.

How is the Hilton? You guys like that hotel?

Which ones the grand vacations or the Elara? I'll be working for them for a few more weeks at least so hit me if you want and I can see about a discount.

I've only stayed at the Grand Vacations the suites are real nice but they're a little far from the center strip.

Planning a bachelor party for Labor Day Weekend.

What's the best way to book Pool Cabana's / VIP.  Through the Club's websites?

Elara. I think they already booked a room for end of March but thinking about joining them. Can you hook us up with extra rollway beds or anything else?

I don't work at the Elara. Sorry for the confusion. Work for the Hilton company.

Always go through a host. Prices are OD anyway that weekend, so you might as well see if you can swing better locations.

What's good NT fam! The homies and I are hitting up Vegas Apr 29 - May 1 weekend. We are going clubbing both nights, and a day club on Saturday. Suggestions for night clubs that play hip hop? EDM is cool one night, as long as we get some hip hop, top 40 one night. Is Tao worth hitting up since we'll be staying at the Venetian? Haven't been to Tao before, how's the music there?

Also, are there any day clubs worth hitting up besides EBC and Wet Republic?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone going to EDC this year?

I already did the whole vegas thing. Pool parties, day parties. In a span of 5 days, probably slept a total 16 hours. Drank more liquor than water that weekend :smh:
