Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

jus booked for march 18-20

looks to be start of march madness.. got a few comp tickets to the viewing party at Planet Hollywood... anybody every been?

Me and my boys go every year for March Madness. It's our favorite time of the year to go. It's also around the same time as Spring Break so there's young drunk sorority girls everywhere. Then again that's pretty much every weekend.

Funny story about 2 years ago we had a $1k 5 team parlay going. The other 4 hit and all we had left was Michigan St -8.5 against Harvard. We went to watch the remaining games at Sapphires. I remember getting a lap dance and my boy running over to me in the middle of it screaming "yo I think we're gna hit." I jump up mid dance and run over to our table near the bar. Sapphires was broadcasting it on these projector screens.

The next thing I know our table is surrounded by like 11 strippers all hanging on to our shoulders. Apparently my loud mouthed drunk cousin was telling every stripper he came across that we had $10k riding on the game and we were going to win and spend it all in the strip club.

We watched the last 3 minutes of that game with the whole strop club cheering for us only to be backdooored by a last second meaningless layup by Harvard. Final score 80-73. As soon as that happened all the strippers left our table and my homie punched a wall and broke his hand and we all left feeling defeated.

Even though we lost, looking back it was a hell of a time and a great story we all laugh about now. So to answer your question yes march madness in Vegas is fun.

epic story.. sucks you got shorted on that  meaningless shot.. im still recouping from that garbage time TD by clemson in the BCS.. smh. i know the feelz..

Was in Vegas years ago and had a friend who had about $5,000 on the line for a parlay. It came down to a random early season Maryland-Miami football game. He had Miami to cover. Miami is down by 2 and driving with under a minute left. It gets to 4th down, and it's money in the bank at that point. If Miami turns it over on downs, Maryland takes a knee and it's over. If Miami scores, no big deal, there'd be no time on the clock, most likely. He's already celebrating. Miami throws on 4th and 4, Maryland intercepts and runs it back for a touchdown. My dude just fell to the floor and didn't talk to anyone the rest of the night. Here's the play (go to 3:18 if the start point isn't working):

I don't remember how much money he had on the line but my boy lost a big money parlay on the Romo hold fumble vs Seattle. And he's a huge Cowboy fan.

We used to go to Vegas the weekend after New Year's every year which used to always be Wild Card weekend. He'd bet 2 random bball games plus the two Saturday games. He lost parlays on the night game like 4 years in a row

I may be attending EDC but not sure. A couple of my local buddies have gone the past couple years. Kinda want to experience it.
It's fun man, you should go.

I'm not planning on going to the rave/festival this year though, just the clubs and hang out with friends

Yeah. Just don't know if I would survive it.

I would think the clubs and stuff would be empty because most people would be at EDC, but maybe not.

The clubs go hard that weekend because it's the last time the A-list residents are in town before summer hits and they go off to Europe and Asia. The big names don't appear as much in July and August because of that.

Man those "workers" were at every corner I turned man.

Disregarding the price, what do you guys suggest for a group of 8 dudes. Aria strip view 2 bedroom penthouse , ph 2 bedroom panorama suite, or Cosmo wraparound terrace with hopefully a terrace connector. I prefer Cosmo wraparound because the view is just too sick, and inside of Cosmo is sooo dope. Plus the yambs. But any insight is appreciated
