Great.

This is gonna lead to ****** taking their DSLR's in random places for 10 minutes and calling their videos "Performance Art Films".

That's a damn video for you. On some classy sh*t. Only problem I had, was that Jay could've edited a few of those words because of the youngins that were listening.

the whole point of it was raw expression though, the parents knew what they were bringing their kids to

Vid was pretty dope. I like the credits instrumental better than the original.

:pimp:

I liked the video, reminded me of the Red Hot Chili Peppers - Tell Me Baby video

:pimp: Okay Shawn.

When I said I wanted Jay-Z to do something to advance the culture/artform of hip hop this is more so the type of thing I was talking about. Put some artistiic thought and effort behind your ****. I still think the album was off in its execution, but seeing stuff like this I'm not gonna hate on him anymore.Jay is getting there, it took his old *** a long time but he's getting there.

"Even my fans is like old man just stop/I would if I could but I can't I'm hot!" gotta say that was an underrated line right there  :pimp:

Not like this wasn't said already in 2001 in a Clipse song or anything... :smokin

Also " if it wasn't for the CANE wouldn't be ABLE."

hold up, am i the only one that thought it was a dope line not just because dealers can use it, but because of how it directly relates to Jay's career as well? maybe i'm too old to remember the late 80's/early 90's :wow:

1) "if it wasn't for the 'Caine wouldn't be Able" = drug imagery since he made money selling

2) "if it wasn't for the Cane wouldn't be Able" = bible imagery

3) "if it wasn't for the Kane wouldn't be Able" = Kane, as in Big Daddy Kane who was instrumental/played a roll in getting Jay on the hip hop/rap scene
