Ray Donovan; new series on showtime

im just sayin to me its like what sully's mom said

it wasnt just the fact that he stepped out on their mom when she was sick

he probably did it a lot and with a lot of women

what made her different is that she was black

You're going off what a racist old lady said and what a prejudice old dude did and projecting it on everyone in the family. Everything he did back then is still @#$%^ with the entire family today.

How many did he have a kid with or rob for? :rolleyes Her being black is different....FOR MICKEY because he loves/feti****es black women.

I think it's naive to think Claudette didn't know what the deal was Mickey might have fed her lies but she wasn't oblivious. She's cheating on her husband CURRENTLY with Mickey.

Based on what you know about Mickey you really think it's a possibility he was around for Daryl  Claudette know's he's a dirt bag she's still views him in a good light and aside from the last episode. Same for Bunchy & Abby at one point. Conor is probably the best example of how good Mickey is at brain @#$%^*& people and the kids didn't exist before Mickey got locked up. So Daryll following him like a puppy means nothing.

Youre entitled to your opinion and i guess you are missing my point. Any kid is going to not like the woman their father cheated on their mother with. either scenario (yours or mine) is likely. However to put the entire blame on claudette is not how it should be imo. Mickey is clearly the true dirtbag.
Again, maybe this was assumed or I didn't make it clear but I'm not putting all the blame on Claudette.

Mickey constantly gets ******* on anyway. That's why it's not even brought up about his blame or him being a dirtbag. He's consistently that and he hasn't changed or really been remorseful about it. The whole 1st season was that and it's continuing to here with a few unhashed out issues.

The question was raised about the Donovan's possibly being racist, what's their problem with Claudette, and how come they accept Daryll. So as you say, no kid is gonna like the woman their father is cheating on their mother with but it goes a bit further since their mom was sick and dying. Now that I think about it, knowing Mickey, I wouldn't be surprised if he brought Claudette to the house while the mom was on her deathbed or right after she died. All I'm saying is that chances are Claudette knew the situation and kept doing dirt with Mickey. None of these ppl seem to be in the moral right anyway going off what light their backgrounds is placed in not to mention all the amoral stuff they're doing presently. So to me Claudette obviously deserves some blame. Lets not pretend like ppl have just been piling on her the whole series. This is really the first time that situation was brought to light.

Different to who? Sully's racist mom? Sure.

Not to the Donovan's though.

Going off what Mickey has said and how he's acted. He's been lusting for big booty black women. It wouldn't surprise me if the majority of women he cheated with were black.

While their are racial undertones to this given they're all from Boston, I'm not seeing any of it coming from Ray or Terry and definitely not Bunchy. When Claudette came in the room it wasn't Mickey brought in a black woman, it was Mickey brought in the same woman he cheated on mom with while she was dying.

No doubt  When I seen Daryll after the reveal I was like damn they didn't even try to cast a guy that even looks half white let alone get a guy that is half white  He don't look like any of them.

Pooch is such a bad actor IMO, he wouldn't fit the role even if he was light skinned

he just didn't give a frack at the end :smokin
all that ish blowing up at the party
bunchy : "i'm not gay!"

Damn, still happy that dude dead though

This guy seems like a real threat though, aint see that coming or going so left so quickly.

 @ I know black ppl, they all about the Benjamin's. Thinking this would end in court.

I was so heated when it ended 15 min early

Hated to see Marvin go out like that

 Cookie a bad dude

Some eps (not a lot) be ilk 45 or 40 something minutes though. That's across the board for cable series with no commercials. They just better acknowledged it here for this Homeland special sneak peak.

Well damn.

It's about to be Cookie vs. Ray for the rest of the season.
mick goes back to his pad I always think shorty gonna be dead idk why
I expect Mick to find Shorty sprawled out on the floor dead every time he comes back home.

You could tell someone was gonna get shot once she layed down in the back seat and he looked left. Great scene reminded me of some Soprano ish…

Damn only I only see two more episodes left after this one WOW. I hope it is four.

Mick been losing since Ray made him come back from Mexico. It's amazing how ******* dudes wife came back to hurt him. At least he should get close to that $9,000 in dinnerware money.

I knew as soon as she put her head down them two was done in this series. Her pop warned her. I still think Cookie saw her as he looked in that direction. No way he didn't see them white legs. No more Marvin unfortunately means no more gratuitous Stingray shots. Plus I bet that song woulda blew up.

2 straight episodes and no FBI/Asac/swinger story line...

One time Mickey doesn't get punked and he loses his movie deal and ends up with some silverware :smh:
