"Just look at the facts over the last whatever, decade and a half, nobody has won more championships than I have and you can't be a selfish player or individual player and win that many championships, it just can't work." - Kobe

Dwyane Wade is slowing creeping up on that number and silly opinion :smokin

In all actuality the fact that Kobe Kobe never made anybody better is ******g dumb

1) That entire three peat he was the guy running that offense at the end of games not d-fish.
2) HE HAS % CHAMPIONSHIPS you don't win multiple titles as an integral part of the team by being a selfish player.
3) check the careers f people before and after they played with Kobe.... He actually had Smush Parker looking decent, He Turned Pau into a championship Caliber player, LO career underachiever comes to L.A and becomes one of the better 6th men in the L & averages nearly a doube double his time here, shannon Brown, Trevor Ariza , Andrew Bynum, Hell Earl Clark.

Kobe has made ALOT of players look much better then they actually are throughout his tenure in this league. so the notion that nobody wants to play for the Lakers because of Kobe is stupid.

I had to stop reading when Paul George was called the second coming of Rudy Gay. Easily the most disrespectful thing said in this entire thread.

Dwight left simply because he couldn't take the pressure of Expecting a championship every year and being held accountable for not winning it... In houston he will put up great numbers win a lot of regular season games and maybe eventually reach a finals.

That's not why he left. If Phil Jackson was there he would've stayed, he went on record saying that...

hes already done that tho needs to win one atleast in houston harden will take alot of pressure offensively off him but still get his throughout the game

 19 a game on 41% shooting is decent...I guess.
As a point guard only two player scored more points than monta. Curry 22pts..45 percent and Westbrook 23pts..43 percent. So like I said monta played pretty good playing next to jennings.

But Cari Champion is :pimp:

Her personality or lack thereof is not :pimp:

She sounded legit hurt in that video. It was comedy. And nelly's point about pressure was spot on. There's lights everywhere, it's still basketball. It's like saying he can't perform on a stage in NY because there's more pressure.

This whole Dwight can't handle pressure is pure spin by LA. They can't handle the fact that the trajectory of their franchise is heading downward before it goes up, and he didn't want to be around Kobe. So instead it must've been something with Dwight.

True Shooting Percentages 59% for Curry, 53% for Russ, 49% for Monta. Does playing alongside Jennings force you to be awful at the 3 ball yet take 4 a game?

More pressure on Houston to win easy. .

Team has expectations.

What are the Lakers expectations? Playoffs?

Rockets are thinking championship

Dude its understood that the Lakers are held on a higher pedestal as opposed to the rockets.

However, this season? Rockets have higher expectations. Period.

Gotta be tough being a LA fan seeing them through this point of view now

Semi true but playing next to a great player usually gets you more recognition (dudes you mentioned got paid when they left) kobe doesnt make his teammates better compared to elite pgs/lbj in terms of setting them up to get easier shots,he usually picks up the slack of his teammates and makes the game easier for them which is the reason kobe forces alot of shots

You really can only see what's in front of your face or what?

What would the expectations be if he Pau a Laker? MULTIPLE championships.

All you see is right now, this second. If the roles flipped, it would not be close to the same pressure. How do you not get that?

Houston HOPES to be in the hunt. They hope to contend for a title.
He stays in LA, we DEMAND titleS. Plural.

How hard is that to grasp?

i dont think he 'held his own' vs sas. i think sas was shocked someone was louder than him. skip was quiet as hell too

Ugh I wish I didn't have to hear arguments about Dwight for the rest of my life. The guy didn't like Kobe, the Lakers are a team full of old business first guys on their last legs while the Rockets are a bunch of young players that more so match his personality and he straight up didn't like D'Antoni. That's why he left the Lakers. Not because of "the pressure". End story.
