Brandon Jennings and Nate Robinson still dont have homes. That is crazy. The two biggest FAs left on the market IMO and theres next to no buzz.
If you guys really want to talk about defensively-liable point guards...

To be fair i think PG is hardest position to guard

Im sure both of them will find a home, I think they just want to much money

Tyson Chandler is overrated and too small to bang with the big boys. Look how Indiana mistreated him.

Game 1 3 rebs
Game 2: 4
Game 3: 5
Game 4: 10
Game 5: 6

I want even discuss his points because that's not why he's on the floor but aside from game 4 his effort was horrible

KD + OKC came up :pimp:

Thunder Get $15M Of Durant's Salary Paid For By Other 29 Teams

The NBA Board of Governors voted to award the Oklahoma City Thunder approximately $15 million due to an issue with Kevin Durant's super-max contract, according to reporting by Zach Lowe of ESPN.

Durant signed a maximim extension with the Thunder in 2010 that went into effect for the 11-12 season, but in the NBA's new collective bargaining agreement, he would be eligible for a super-max as a two-time All-NBA honoree. The NBA approved the boost in December of 2011 and an additional $15 million over five years.

The Thunder signed the deal not anticipating paying Durant 30 percent of the cap.

Teams can only designate one player for the five-year extension, but were able to do so with both Durant and Russell Westbrook because of the loophole.

I really don't wanna get into the whole pressure thing but all I know is that dwight signed up with houston, said the goal is western conference finals (3rd place) and nobody blinked.that would not be ok with the lakers, especially if kobe was harden's age. so in houston the local fans/media would say "it's ok you did your best we'll get 'em next year". dwight called la fans ungrateful, basically they don't care if you just had surgery they expect you to play hard and not complain. I'm a laker fan but I usually give guys the benefit of the doubt.

as stupid as it was for lebron to say "not 5, not 6.." you gotta give him credit for openly having high expectations and dealing with the consequences whereas dwight is publicly shying away from the word "championship" and why? because he doesn't want that kind of pressure. he said several times last season that he misses free throws because he knows people expect him to and he feeds into it. that's dwight's mentality in a nutshell

Really the point you just made is that it's a lose-lose for players when they make any kind of statement about what they want to do on a new team.  You can call one guy humble and another one arrogant, or you can call one guy defeatist and the other ambitious.  Why don't we just not ascribe anything to these types of comments and let the play on the court speak for itself.

It's funny because you know you're going to get the good and the bad in equal measure with guys like Nate and J.R.

When they went on strong runs people were like "My dude is back!!!  Huge contract!!  This guy really figured it out!!"  And then a little while later they're absolute garbage, like clockwork.  This will never ever ever ever change.

In all actuality the fact that Kobe Kobe never made anybody better is ******g dumb

1) That entire three peat he was the guy running that offense at the end of games not d-fish.
2) HE HAS % CHAMPIONSHIPS you don't win multiple titles as an integral part of the team by being a selfish player.
3) check the careers f people before and after they played with Kobe.... He actually had Smush Parker looking decent, He Turned Pau into a championship Caliber player, LO career underachiever comes to L.A and becomes one of the better 6th men in the L & averages nearly a doube double his time here, shannon Brown, Trevor Ariza , Andrew Bynum, Hell Earl Clark.

Kobe has made ALOT of players look much better then they actually are throughout his tenure in this league. so the notion that nobody wants to play for the Lakers because of Kobe is stupid.

good **** bro

if this is the lowest our franchise is gonna be

yea real tough we are the new bobcats of the league

some of you really are trying too hard
Hardest part is you won't even have the comedic skills of Kwame brown to bail you out this time.

Keep their money for the next year.

They're the Lakers and they're in Los Angeles. Eventually they'll dangle a big contract in front of a star and someone will take it. Dwight Howard treated them like a plague he needed to escape, but that doesn't mean that's how every star is gonna think.

 Yall will be competing for the worst team in California next year.
Says the guy whos team was competing for worst team in texas for 10 years..

:x

With SA and Dallas as the other 2 teams, aint nothing wrong with that, however we were in the middle for 3-4 years. Yall will be competing with sacramento as the worst team, while we stomp yall everytime we play next year.
