All three of Jrue, Evans and Gordon dominate the ball and need it to be effective.

Still, if they play the right way it could work. But I don't know how this will turn out.

the PnR and dwight howard :pimp:

 yea right

he's gonna get his touches in the paint, so i don't see the issue.

lin will be better. his strong suit was PnR and having howard will definitely help. he really would just need to improve his perimeter shooting and he'd be ok for this team.

as for parsons, he isn't going anywhere. so let's kill that talk right now.

lin needs to refine his ball handling and passing skills. hes turnover prone

both are true. i feel like this season he's going to be asked to do a lot less with the ball in his hands. parsons should get more touches as his game evolves and dwight post ups won't need lin trying to create for anyone.

Gordon doesn't need to be ball-dominant, he's a great shooter. That team is extremely intriguing but none of us have any clue how they'll be til we actually see them play some games together. They obviously have the talent to be a playoff team but the West is so loaded with teams that could make the playoffs. Hope they get a good amount of national TV time this year.

Gordon loves to make plays though, which he's adept at. He doesn't strike me as a selfish player though and his IQ seems OK. The initial reaction to the Pelicans making these moves surprised me, seemed like a lot of people were down on them. I too think they are intriguing, assuming they play the right way. Davis and Jrue for sure are team players so it's up to Gordon and Evans to follow suit.

well its not for sure but some are expecting it

its that or he will start at SF which isnt a good idea

Where do you guys see the Pelicans?

LINEUP

R. Anderson

E. Gordon
Jrue Holiday

BENCH
Tyreke Evans
Austin Rivers

Those young guys need to get better and develop. They need to complete that deal for oden. Not a playoff team.

Think we have to get the final roster before we talk about what will happen. I think the pelicans can sneak into the playoffs 7/8; monty is a good coach plus working with coach k will help him even more

I think it will be interesting to see how other teams will play defense against the pelicans since hoilday, evans, and gordon were the number one option player to stop last year.(maybe DMC was for the kings). Also evans and gordon were guarding the other teams scoring threat last season.

Yep, him and Perkins must have both walked in on them. In better news, I guess this means Russ's knee is coming along.

D Fish for the most part has been pretty good for the Thunder though. *Shrugs*

He's a very good defender, and besides that bad shooting stretch last year is a knock down shooter.

Tyreke is gonna start, everyone knows Gordon will have some season ending injury early in the season; he's made of glass.

MCW is awful and Noel isnt gonna win ROY on half a season with maybe 10 ppg

MCW ain't awful but you're right about Noel. He could put up 10, 10 and 3 blocks for the season when he gets back but that isn't gonna get him rookie of the year on a crap team. I think MCW will average like 13 and 7 this year. Turner, Thad and Hawes will put up big numbers with no other options on the squad. I have a feeling that group plus MCW, Noel and J-Rich are gonna mess up our tank job a little bit.

Hell must be freezing over when you guys haven't mentioned LeBron or Kobe all night, and are talking about the Jazz, Hornets and rookies.

I think I might have some typing to do here.

Edit: I mean Pelicans. **** you.
