Hakeem was in marathon condition, dude played while he was fasting and was almost never gassed. He need to teach Howard and Blake how to play a whole quarter and run back on defense...

I have said it before none of these big man have great foot work to learn from Hakeem and use it during games
you notice only Lebron and kobe have learned from hakeem and use his moves during games?
not one to say Dwight is horrible in the post but he has worked with Hakeem and also with Ewing for a few years in Orlando, he is what he is on offense. he uses more of the moves Ewing taught him then anything Hakeem did

Dwight was the best defensive player in the league, but none of Ewing's coaching stuck?
Nah.. he owes a lot to Patrick, at least defensively. I don't know who Dwight should have modeled his game after for offense, but that ship has sailed anyway, he is who he is offensively.

If it wasn't for McHale being so close to Fred Hoiberg the Rockets most likely never draft him. SMH
I don't see him ever stepping foot on the court though. If he can't come to a resolution with the team who drafted him, what hope is there for him for some other team to deal with his circus.

Idk if you watched every knick game this year, but ever since Amare came back he's been LIVING in the post. Straight posting up every time doing all these little moves he learned. It took some time for them to start working, but they did. Then he got hurt again
He cant rely on his athleticism anymore. His jumpshot is completely gone. Hakeem saved him from being completely useless.
