SMH Beasley, man I thought he was turning his career around after I saw him take a dump on the Lakers in the 4th QTR last season. Dude goitta shape up FAST like Z-Bo did after all that drama in Portland.

I am not talking about a blockbuster deal or anything, sure he is a bust compared to his expectations as a #2 pick. But he still averaged 13, 6, and 4 last season and I am sure his numbers will go up this season due to the absence of Holiday. There is some value there.
I can see using him in a sign and trade for a big time free agent.

I can't imagine teams lining up to trade their first round pick for Evan Turner. Especially when he's an impending free agent.

reggie evans

:wow:  at lebron's mom's bf wearing lebron's championship ring

as for beasley, im curious to see which team takes a chance on him. the talent was always there, but his attitude & work ethic have always been the killer. that undersized PF role is a dangerous one too.

if he could go to a team where the head coach could get through to him & doesn't tolerate anything extra from beasley, he could still be productive. it's just a question of what situation would be able to work out like that for him. it was like when andray blatche came to brooklyn from washington... he had his issues as a player, but avery johnson did a great job of getting him where he needed to be & he's been a good addition to the team ever since.

Report: Mike Bibby working out with Spurs at mini-camp

We told you earlier this summer Mike Bibby was looking to play one more year in the NBA, then follow his father into coaching (although Mike wouldn’t put it that way).

Problem was, he was unimpressive with the Knicks two seasons ago — 39 games, 2.9 points per game with a PER of 7.8 — and last season he was out of the league completely.

But according to our friend Jared Zwerling of ESPNNewYork.com Bibby has at least gotten his foot in the door.

Source: NBA veteran Mike Bibby is participating in a Spurs mini-camp this week with "a bunch of guys" for mostly training camp invites.

It’s hard to see this working out. The Spurs will start Tony Parker at the point and behind him there is Nando De Colo, Cory Joseph and Patty Mills fighting for the backup minutes.

The Bibby of 2010 (well past his prime) could crack that rotation, but things deteriorated fast after that. Unless you think he and Ponce de León found the fountain of youth, it’s hard to see Bibby returning to that form.

Z-Bo used to put up numbers tho. I don't think Head has it in him
