Yeah, here in Atlanta every Athletes Foot has been renamed to City Gear. Think it happened towards the end of 2013.

It depends on the city. I thought FinishLine bought all of the Athlete's Foot stores, but after reading @blacklion23's post above I did a little research. It turns out that Athlete's foot is still in business, they just sold or closed most of their stores and are being selective in which markets to stay in. In Atlanta, CityGear bought most of the old Athlete's Foot stores, and it looks like they only kept two there:

They still have stores, but MUCH less than I remember in the 90s and 2000s. Here in Pittsburgh (which, as it turns out, is where Athlete's Foot started), all of the former Athlete's Foot stores are now FinishLine stores.

They should be just of a GR as the White/Infrared Retro 6's, but we may have to hold on to your hope of availability since most people will probably find these more appealing than people did of the White/Infrared Retro 6's lol.

well, the athletes foot stores down here(SFLA) have been changing to Simons. Theres only a few athletes foots left.

I never go, because with it being a franchise...more shady stuff behind the scenes. In fact I've heard as much.
I just wonder if it makes it easier to get a JB or Tier 0 account.

Ye JB tends to do that, the powder blue 3s looked darker in the pics than what they actually were.

I miss the streamline aerodynamic design of the ogs man.....there's nothing like that shape anymore. virtually ALL retros have that fugly banana shape going on with a brolic *** toe box. Who's foot is shaped this way??? /rant
