OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

This is my 2nd year playing in a PPR league. I really didn't think there would be much of a difference, but there was. Our league is a 14 team league slit into 2 divisions. We also draft 16 players in our draft. We start QB, 2RB, FLEX, 3WE, TE, D/ST, K. This is my current team:

QB- Andrew Luck, Mike Vick
RB- Arian Foster, BenJarvis Green-Ellis, Knowshon Moreno, Ronnie Hillman
WE- Andre Johnson, Marqes Colston, James Jones, Leonard Hankerson, Robert Woods.
TE- Antonio Gates, Jordan Reed
D/ST- Pittsburg Steelers (dropping them this week)
K- Justin Tucker

Also I have 1st pick w/the waiver wire this week. It's pretty slim pickings out there when you have 14 teams w/16 players to a team. I know my running back position is weak. I was thinking Rashad Jennings from Oakland possibly. One other possibility is Jericho Cotchery WE for Pitt but that was pry a fluke.

Welp.

I've conceded this week. I'll be 2-2 after a loss once Drew Brees throws another touchdown to a reciever not named Jimmy Graham.

**** YOU Sean Payton. Keeping Graham on the sidelines so much.

I need 3.5 points between brees and hartley to stay undefeated. Not sure how it works since saints will run the clock. 30 yards or one FG Should do it.

Dudes was SMH-ing me when I didn't take a running back til round 4

First 3 picks turned out pretty well for me: Calvin Johnson, Jimmy Graham, Peyton Manning

4th pick - LeVeon Bell

5th - Giovani Bernard

Call me Bradford Belichick.

I traded Frank Gore, Julius Thomas and Marlon Brown for Randall Cobb, Martellus Bennett and Denarius Moore. Fair trade? I wanted to keep Brown initially.

PPR My team now:

Cam Newton
Calvin Johnson
Jordy Nelson
Alfred Morris
Danny Woodhead
Vernon Davis
Randall Cobb
Janikowski
49ers

Denarius Moore
Martellus Bennett
Brian Hartline
Darryl Richardson
Joique Bell

currently have a claim on Alshon Jeffrey, dropping Andy Dalton. I wanna move Alfred Morris for two running backs ideally.

^ Good trade because you got Cobb. Moore sucks and don't expect to get Alshon Jeffery your 1 week late  try for Ryan Broyles. I'm trying to move Morris as well |I

3-0 :smokin

Shout out to Reggie Bush, Kenbrell Thompkins, and my new favorite TE Coby Fleener.

proposed a trade:

give:
dwayne bowe
michael floyd
alfred morris

receive:
forte
amendola

dude is in last place 0-4. was hoping he would panic and take the trade. hopefully

Charles Clay filling in nicely for me until Gronk finally plays :smokin (which is getting to be really annoying). I went 2-2 this week. That puts me at 3-1, 2-2, 2-2, 0-4 {) in the 4 leagues that I'm in.

I'm getting...Brady, reg Wayne and spiller for marshawn. Accept or decline?
Accept that trade immediately if not sooner.

Went 4-0 this week for the first time this year. Sproles with an amazing game, was down 21 in standard league, had Sproles he had Wallace and I won by 3. Another league I was up .08 with Sproles to go and he had Graham. Killed my 3rd league by 88 points. And Nate Washington and Foster in my big Money league :smokin . Good week for me.

Gotta question though, is Carolina defense good for next week vs Cards? Could also pick up, Chargers vs Oak, Browns vs Bills, or Stl vs Jax?

I freaking hate my team! full of underachievers. has anyone been down 1-3 and made the playoffs? i never been in this position ever lol. someone give me some hope.

Thinking of picking up Rashad Jennings. I have one spot open and a claim in for Alshon. I need a running back getting at least 15 carries this week with Gore gone and Morris on bye. I might just wait and see if I get Jeffrey and could package him with Morris first.

I've seen teams start 0-3, 0-4, 1-4 and still win the championship.  Hell--and this is a really extreme and rare example/occurrence--I've even seen a team start 0-6 and then win out.

You've still got time to right the ship but your margin for error is very, very slim and you'll need a bit of luck on your side.
