Lock Thread

Left in the third quarter. Don't know why I should stick around when the ****ing team doesn't even bother showing up.

Complete embarassment out there today, McFadden can take Hayden out the door with him too for all I care

That was terrible. I'm not putting the full blame on the rook..but he got toasted...twice. Then again the Defense looked very confused most of the time with the up-tempo offense. I did not like how both sides of the ball played. I hope they have short term memory. Shake that off, get to work this week and on to NYG.

Defense got lit up, no question about it. Couldn't create any pressure and was leaving dudes wide open. Pryor as usual had no time in the pocket, but it seemed to me he was giving up on plays a lot faster than he has been the past few weeks and just trying to run for what he could. I think it's safe to say the Darren McFadden era will be ending after this season.

Yeah. If dude can't stay healthy during a contract year, I do not know what to tell you. Does he really honestly think he will be seeing $$$?

I love Pryor's play making ability his grit and courage. I love the way he handles himself. But man......I am so worried its a Tebow thing happening with him right now.

A friend and I were just talking and he was like " Why didn't the raiders just straight up approach the Vikings about trading McFadden for Jared Allen." lol.

To me this is an audition year for Pryor if he doesn't keep improving once Jared and Watson are back we have to look at other QB's

Srs question you guys feel DJ Hayden was worth a 1st rd pick?

After yesterday's gm it feels like this tm will lose the rest o the games unless we have better play calling. I feel Allen is too ******g conservative

Honestly, I wish we took Sheldon Richardson. Corners usually take more time to develop/get used to the game so I'm not ready to write him off yet though. Nnamdi wasn't exactly the best player when we drafted him.

Far from ready to give up on DJ Hayden. he's a rookie who had a shortened training camp due to surgery. I'll give the kid a year to catch up to the NFL style of play before judging him.

I believe the corners have a hell of a job especially with penalties more advantageous to the offense. With him being a rook, he must be shook at what he can get flagged for.

I have got to trust that C. Woodson is talking to him along with the other veterans and helping him out. Hope he is in the film room just studying tape.

I don't want to see what Eli would do if he doesn't get pressured.

I don't know if it is totally D.A. being conservative. It does seem like the play calling becomes that way when a lead happens. But watching Pryor's pocket passing just doesn't inspire confidence to go for it. The deep ball is not there yet for him unless it is a broken play. The line is pretty busted to be going for the vertical stuff as well. Maybe with Jennings running the way he is, it will set up more time for Pryor to test the aggressive plays.

I was ready to eat crow and say I may have been a bit wrong about Coach Allen but then I saw yesterdays game and his face on the sideline. He looked lost and was starring into the abyss or about what he had for lunch. No adjustments and no emotion. He yells and jumps when we do well but doesnt get in the players faces when they are stinking it up. I feel sorry for those who spent their hard earned money on that debacle yesterday.

Hayden is fine. I feel like he had decent coverage on some of those blown plays..the TD to the corner he had good coverage and just bit and misread the ball. Second one is when he fell...I think woodson was suppose to be helping on that one too.

My opinion on the defense hasn't changed honestly...I think we're still a good Defense with what we have...and thats a good core with no d line.

Our offense is just horrible. No wideouts. No O Line. McFadden needs his walking papers filled out. And a young QB learning with all these issues.

Man as a former CB I can attest, poor DJ, it just be like that sometimes.  We're talking inches/centimeters between making a huge defensive play and getting burned on a couple of those plays. Add some outright bad luck to what was unmistakably a subpar performance and you end up with the kind of day DJ had. Riley Cooper got in that ***.  Can't wait to see Hayden's body language and demeanor this weekend, if he can bounce back without letting it affect his confidence then this past Sunday is just one more important step towards becoming a starting NFL caliber CB.

How does a guy like Nnamdi fall off so  hard? It's crazy how bad he's gotten.

Premier corners usually stick around for a while. Ex: Charles Woodson, Antoine Winfield, Champ Bailey, Terrence Williams

I don't think I can ever recall anyone calling Nnamdi overrated during his stay in Oakland. Teams didn't throw in his vicinity and he rarely ever got beat when they did. He was very good in press coverage and defending the bump and run from what I remember, something that a corner should be able to do his entire career.
