I like the darkness of this movie tho. Its the reason i root for DC over marvel. Which is why i really want DC's universe to be great

well i mean, she was getting solid hits in with her sword
replace that with a spear and just let her stab him to death while batman and superman have actual interesting dialogue in the background

Who's to say WW wouldn't have been killed then?
We all knew this movie was going to make bank opening weekend. But for every bad review, there are good/decent reviews...so your guess is as good as mine on how this movie will run over the next couple of weeks.

the woman who was getting multiple good hits in with her sword, smiling as if she's ready to go another 10 rounds after she got hit, with bracers and shield that can block anything?

Now this is definitely nitpicking. The spear actually had nothing to do with what happened to Superman in the final battle.
And it wasn't even "stab Doomsday once and yay it's over", it was a certified power struggle even after he had already been gassed by Batman's grenades. Ww was not going to survive that power struggle.

Nah fam. Doomsday was still fighting that lasso and WW wasn't exactly holding him with ease. Doomsday was strong enough to fight it still and WW was grimacing.
