I was fortunate enough to get Saturday and Sunday passes. I'm looking forward to seeing what they reveal for BvS and Civil War. Last year they showed us a 5min Age of Ultron preview with footage I still have yet to see on TV. Hope they do the same for this movie.

Dwayne Johnson Says SHAZAM! May Be Coming Sooner

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was among the many stars that MTV News spoke with during the 87th annual Academy Awards last weekend, and during the brief interview, the wrestler-turned-actor had discussed his role as Black Adam in Shazam! and how its 2019 release date might be moved up. "It may happen a little earlier than what has been predicted," revealed Johnson. "The script is coming in, it's great, and the support from the studio has just been great. It's just a great opportunity especially with Black Adam where you can take a guy who starts off as a bad guy turns into an anti-hero. We can make it vicious, a little bit of winking charm." "The Rock" was then asked if anyone has been cast as Captain Marvel yet. "I don't know yet," he told MTV News reporter Josh Horowitz, before joking, " but you're at the top of the list buddy."

CBS' 'Supergirl' Enlists Chyler Leigh, David Harewood

The DC Comics take has enlisted Grey's Anatomy alum Chyler Leigh and Homeland vet David Harewood for regular roles, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Additionally, The Flash and Arrow's Andrew Kreisberg has joined the Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler drama as a writer and executive producer.

Harewood will co-star as DC Comics character Hank Henshaw. In the CBS take, the character is a onetime CIA agent who now runs the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), which tracks extraterrestrial threats on Earth. In the comics on which the potential series is based, Hank Henshaw is Cyborg Superman.

Leigh, whose credits include NBC's Taxi Brooklyn, will play Alexandra "Alex" Danvers, the confident foster sister of Kara. Fascinated by Kara's powers from a young age, Alex developed a lifelong obsession with science that inspired her to become a doctor.

I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint as that cast is essentially the next crop of Hollywood talent.

I never looked at them that way. They are for sure next in line. It actually looks good though. I never thought it would be bad, just meh. Like how First Class is for me. Hopefully, it's good.

That's because those ppl are casually racist enough against black ppl or just ignorant fools. Let Momoa be a few shades darker, there'd be hate too. Being racist against black ppl is a sure thing.

Those type of internet racists aint sure being offensive to someone of Native American ancestry is the right move. It's the same thing when The Rock was cast as Black Adam.

Don't be fooled though, similar to those lames complaining that Idris Elba was an Asgardian, there's some hardcore racists mad that Momoa is the blond haired, pale white Aquaman in the movies on some site, probably stormfront.

I think Dwayne has hit the sweet spot: he's half black, but he's light-skinned enough to appeal to the masses.

Michelle Rodriguez Addresses "Rumors" She'll Play JUSTICE LEAGUE's 'Green Lantern'

It's hard to say where this "rumour" began. However, it appears as if a few comic book sites suggested that Michelle Rodriguez would be an interesting choice for Jessica Cruz/Power Ring instead of Hal Jordan or one of the other male Green Lanterns, and it's this which led to a few film blogs running with the story like it was an actual rumour rather than just speculation. Regardless, TMZ asked the actress about these reports recently, and she's not interested in being cast for the sake of it.

"That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. I think it's so stupid because of this whole minorities in Hollywood thing. It's so stupid. Stop stealing all the white people's superheroes. Make up your own. What's up with that?"
