Still gonna have to see it for myself but man that really brought down my excitement level a few notches :\

Naah, Rises was great. Bad part of that trilogy was the chick who played Rachel in TDK. Out there looking like a beat up sack of potatoes.

Really Rachel's character in general wasn't great.

He's a decent actor.

No I'm just joking but DC at this rate won't get good actors or directors.

True, if you do a top-down comparison between DC and Marvel, Marvel definitely has the better actors.

The only saving graces at DC are Batfleck + Davis + Adams so far.

All that talk about Jared Leto going super-Method to play the Joker, tormenting his castmates and whatnot, has led only to a lukewarm display of villainy that, it turns out, teeters on the line between small supporting role and outright cameo. After all that, Leto’s Joker is barely in the damn movie, and when he is, he’s entirely underwhelming.

As a standalone film, Rises is solid. In comparison to its' predecessors though, it was a disappointment. Acting, cinematography, soundtrack, etc.., the majority of the components were excellent. Unfortunately, the script was just so sloppily written and it did spoil, what could have been, a great trilogy.

I had my doubts when it looked like Will Smith was gonna be the spotlight of the flick. That clown hasn't made a decent movie in a minute.
