Thanks bro, I was able to preorder 2 for 9.19 pickupIt's up...too bad the one I want - 6+ 64gb Gold - takes 7-10 days to ship
I tried earlier on the store app with the shipping 9/19 status, but got a "could not connect with carrier" and received a reservation number. Never received email yet...
Damn, still deciding if I should just preorder or go to a store next week.

Woke up, no email from AT&T. For the hell of it I checked apple, in-store pickup on my gold 6+ on 9/19...at one point it said 2-3 weeks but my order/email/everything says 9/19(& I have an email) SWEEEEEEEEET

I got through on apple and went ahead and ordered because I hadn't received confirmation from my prior att order.
5 minutes after I got confirmation from apple I get an email from att.
Oh well, I'll sort it out in the morning and cancel my att orders.

That's exactly why I went ahead with the Apple order, I placed mine at 3:20 or so, there's no record of the order besides the web order# itself. I was still given the ability to upgrade my line so I can only think they don't have my order in, especially the way the site was going this morning. I came out winning though, I wasn't going to get their phone for 14-21 days anyway

In hindsight i should have not even bothered waking up so early to struggle with this considering it looks like you can log onto apple now and place your order pretty easily.
But i am not in any rush to get the phone i just wanted to make sure i got it and didn't have to wait until december or something.

Business days are Mon-Fri. You aren't getting it on the 19th which is a Friday, so you start count from Monday the 22nd. You basically missed the cutoff for launch day release and are in the "2nd group"

oh well. i didn't preorder...couldn't decide on a few things plus i overslept. first off the difference between silver and space gray. i missed the keynote so i don't know much about the changes on the phone. it just doesn't feel like i have to have it...my 5, minus the battery life, is alright.
i'll get a 6+ eventually, tho. not feeling copping now and waiting until mid october to get it tho.

Anyone go to the sprint store on release day in the past?
I didn't preorder because I'd like to get the $200 for my 4s instead of just $76 had I done it online tonight. A sprint rep told me to get the $200 trade in promo I had to go in store.

Did the site crash last night? I was kinda drunk last night and I forgot to check the site. I woke up a little while ago and was surprised I was able to order. Got the 6 64GB Space Gray for in-store pickup at the Apple store in Gtown.

I do this every other year. I don't even deal with preorders I just go to the local AT&T or Apple store and cop the day of. Being at Apple with all those people is an experience man lol. AT&T be rather dead so its a quick activate your phone and be out. And to the dude above I seriously doubt they let you swap colors but then again depending on what rep you speak with that could be different.
