entry level luxury cars.... EDIT: I DO NOT want one. just want people's opinion.

To each their own but no way in hell I wanna live in a small apt with my mom in my 30's

If I drop dead tomorrow all that cash I stacked ain't coming with me

Yea that's it. To each their own. It's beating a dead horse now. If his buddies live at home of course he gonna feel it's ok. We all come from diff walks of life. Around here ppl will question a man an look at you funny if you live with moms and your 30. Women......shiiiiiii

ya let social constructs get in da way of common sense? if im making what a 100K a year cat makes with my purchasing power

doing it my way, i can buy w/e other people strive for (house, car, invest) within 5 years with no mortgage and no excessive debt.

pssh...i can't go wrong :nthat:

Atleast it sounds like you got a plan.

Lets end this value and depreciation debate right now.

Autotrader.com is the biggest used car website in America.

As of today there are a total of 66 listings for a used 2008 Charger SRT8 under 75000 miles. The average asking price is 24337 dollars

][]]&showcaseOwnerId=624229&captureSearch=true&Log=0]http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/searchresults.xhtml?zip=75024&endYear=2008&keywordPhrases=srt8&Log=0&modelCode1=DODCHAR&keywords=srt8&startYear=2008&makeCode1=DODGE&numRecords=100&maxMileage=75000&searchRadius=0&mmt=[DODGE[DODCHAR[]][]]&showcaseOwnerId=624229&captureSearch=true&Log=0

As of today there are a total of 907 listings for a used 5 series BMW the average asking price is 23948 dollars.

[5_SERIES[]]]&showcaseOwnerId=56666255&captureSearch=true&Log=0]http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/searchresults.xhtml?zip=75024&endYear=2008&Log=0&modelCode1=5_SERIES&startYear=2008&makeCode1=BMW&numRecords=100&maxMileage=75000&searchRadius=0&mmt=[BMW[][5_SERIES[]]]&showcaseOwnerId=56666255&captureSearch=true&Log=0

Keep in mind there tons of 550s that retail for 60K+ in that mix.

So a 5 series BMW cost more at retail and is worth less 5 years later and cost more to maintain.

That is the definition of value.

Ninjahood makes many good points. Outside of shoes he really hasn't bought into capitalism. Many people around the world have little respect for our hyper-consumerist society, brands at their essence don't mean nothing.
The excuses ya'll make for homie are hilarious. Your mother not being able to use her own restroom cause your shoes are all over the floor is about as hyper consumerist as it gets lmao. It's a shame this is what car threads come to on here.

Not gonna lie I agree with this concept. I woudlnt be sticking by it when I'm 30 but this mindset is a sound one. You've all seen the people who are gung ho to move out once theyre of age and end up struggling as a result while the next guy stayed home and saved and now can move out and be well equipped to live.

He's in his second 2nd childhood. Word to Nas.

Bruh... Word on everything, this song played earlier and I was reading this thread

What is a entry level lux car anyway? A CTS? A 328? Those cars aren't even luxury imo, they're no more luxury then my 06 Mustang GT..
If you're gonna go luxury buy it right the first time, don't waste your money on no BS..
Try and find u a early to mid 2000's 745-750, LS400, GS400 or something along that line..

DAWG... THAT is the definition of "Budget bawling" "Badge flossing" "Not doing it".

So you're going to cop a 8-10 year old car JUST because its the higher end model? Hundreds of thousands of miles? For what? Just to say you don't have the "ENTRY LEVEL" version?

Thats living life *** backwards. That is wasting money on ********.

I'd rather buy an entry level BMW with NO LEATHERS but with 0 miles and a warranty before I waste my money on a 2004 745.

Ya'll living life wrong man

All I'll say is that moving out at a young age is a valuable learning experience, yea u may struggle in the beginning some longer than others but you'll learn to hustle harder than before and be resourceful etc.  Even today, none of my houses/cars and other material **** I have now are as rewarding to me as moving out at 18 a decade ago and building my own life for myself

He dropped over a $100k on shoes; that's hyper consumerism my dude

But I did qualify my statement with "outside of shoes". Either way he has pointed out that his shoes are fairly liquid and have appreciated over time so it's not the same as other articles of clothing, electronics or cars which all usually tend to depreciate.

Just look at his shoe purchases as bank deposits. The interest accrued in a savings account is nothing to write home about so maybe we should look at it as equity. He's an expert in the "shoe game" the same way a stockbroker is (at least should be) on the stock market, so he plays a market he understands to his benefit. IMO if he was more entrepreneurial he could have his kicks stored in a storage unit and open a store on eBay.

Ninja you will not be making 100k driving a truck.
I think he's saying he'll have the buying power of someone that makes 100k, given he's still living like a big kid and has virtually no expenses.

Your story falling apart son

Moving out is about being independent and being a man imo

Its about what society says it is IMO. I'm not even defending ninja but this independent stuff is garbage to me when talking about moving on your own when we know most do it for girls (from what I see most times which isn't bad to me just be honest) anyway. All this other stuff I didn't need to live alone to learn at all. He'll are cats learning seriously? How to pay bills? If your money is straight you learn absolutely nothing at least in my case that I didn't know before.

Yeah, I cannot imagine someone buying a home in NYC fully paid off within a 5 year span, especially someone making "100k". Yet, in his first post he stated he's saving up to buy jewelry before he can get a car. This guy is a compulsive liar

I believe he said before he has never had a credit card; etc

When did ninja say he was buying a home in NYC?

He's always been on that "I'm moving to the DR in a mansion" tip

What I want to know is who out here is copping the Charger over the BMW.

Straight up.

I'm a MOPAR kinda guy, but I know damn well I would probably get that BMW...

How the hell are you comparing something binary like being a virgin to purchase choices in an open market?

I can say "Outside of Apples, I like fruits"

I can't say "Outside of light, I like darkness" well no ****, that's the only other option

Dude has so much depth in his reposes to cars, yet when asked what his future plans were, **** was vague as hell.
Have dudes convincing themselves, coming up with answers for him.
