but a c300 and a c350 are almost identical except the badge so if they are buying it for the looks? why not the c350 looks exactly like the c300 because its cheaper?

a c300 is cool entry level luxury for those who want to push a benz much like a 328 and people only buy these cars because of the badge (they are paying for the mercedes/bmw name not for any of the luxury features or performance which makes the 335/c350 a much more financially logical choice as the cost difference is minor compared to extra features and spec aka more bang for your buck if you must push a c-class/3 series over a camry)
