Those numbers aren't based off leasing. Those are educated automotive calculations of the true cost of ownership from purchasing on Day-1 all the way through Year-5...

You find me a website that doesn't require me to put in my social and i'll post that too. I can't take a credit score hit to win an internet debate.

I'm still wanting for an advertisement for a 2500 rebate on a SRT8 anything.

Also, every dealer and private seller in the United States of America have conspired together to list used SRT8s for considerably more than what they actually sell for? Do you truly believe this? Not a couple, not a few, but every single one in a country of 300 million?

Strangely enough I did find one of these cars being discounted $2500 though.....

Interesting that it just states "2013 Dodge Charger" yet the quote for the 5-Series is specific to the actual 528i...

You want to prove insurance rates are significantly less so you need to do that work yourself. I've already provided 2 sources estimating insurance rates are well above the norm...

Links of conspiracy? Plus proof of SRT8s selling (not being listed) above worth...

As for discounts/rebates, I never said BMW doesn't offer them:

1. $1,500 rebate is common as, on a national level, most sell for MSRP. This allows the consumer to know that they can still attain credit and/or cash back...

2. $1,000 rebate. That's a loyalty discount. You would have to have owned previous bimmers to qualify...

Like you don't think you can get a discount on any 2012 model year car when the 2014s are about to come out?

I think it's because ninja said something about how the srt8's don't really depreciate that much after the first year. did a quick search on cars.com and found this:

Do you know what the difference between two apartment of identical size could come down to, even if both rooms are in decent buildings?

Hardwood floors, updated appliances, granite countertops, etc. make a HUGE difference when buying...

Thats the difference between the BMW and the Charger. So what if the rooms have walk in closets, just as many bathrooms, and central air as well. ***** that **** ain't luxury. Where I'm from, that **** is almost standard at this point when you're buying new apartments.

Sometimes visual aesthetics are a form luxury. Sitting in the BMW is a much nicer experience than that bare bones Charger. Like I said, the **** looks like a ******g Dodge Ram.

And why isn't the fact that you aren't going to use all that power a legit reason? You're sacrificing aesthetics and a visually nicer interior, 3 years of free maintenance, and an overall nicer more "luxurious" looking car for what? To pay damn near the same price for something that doesn't look as good, but has similar features and more HP? What if you don't CARE about horsepower? What if you aren't even going to use al lthat horsepower? All you're doing is driving to work, to the grocery store, to the mall, or out to dinner every now and then. Everyone is different, and buys cars for different reasons. Stop acting like your reason is the right reason. Don't call my statements excuses, when half the **** you've negated in this thread has been shrugged off with excuses. Or better yet, just not answered at all.

Being a dumb consumer would be taking car advice from a guy online who doesn't even own a car...

We're from two different worlds bruh. If you think leather seats is all it takes to have luxury, then I don't know what to tell you.

Which leads me back to asking, have you sat in both? Do you know what leatherette feels like? How much easier it is to upkeep? Do you know how many people lease/trade in these BMW's? And why the value isn't there anymore because the warranty is up when buying used, or the fact that there are more BMW's with 70K miles + on the market than SRT Chargers? Do you understand how customer service and experience goes a long way when purchasing a car? Have you bought a BMW? A Dodge? Do you know what the experience is like sitting down and actually being taken care of by the dealer? Do you know what its like to walk into a dealer and not like the mood/environment and be turned off, but then walk into another one and instantly feel comfortable? That goes a long way when purchasing a car.

Its just like the Apple vs Android argument. You can spit paper facts at me all day, but you don't know the EXPERIENCE of not only owning a product, but the customer service and connivence of knowing that if there's an issue, it'll be handled smoothly with no hassle.

That is a form of luxury bruh.

So miss me with your Google searches.

My family has owned countless BMW's and Benzes, Volvo Nissan, Honda, Ford, GMC, AND DODGE. I don't just have homies that drive these cars bruh, I drive them

I think I know what I'm talking about through EXPERIENCE. Not just what I read online.

Some things are just more important to different people. I don't care about all the **** you care about when buying a car. So I don't really care how you think its "badge flossing".

At the end of the day, you got hundreds of NIKE's and I ain't ever seen you in a sports/aethletic thread. Leads me to wonder... Are you badge flossing?

Worst part about this is, I'm saying all this, and I LOVE the Dodge Challenger... Its the car I plan on buying next.

I'm just not naive enough to write off or generalize people who don't share the same point of view as me.
