***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

I hate drake because I think he is a vulture that has ghostwriters, Jews and other big wigs backing him and.... he sucks. Hopes on whoever is hot wave and rides it and on to the next.

U don't think the absolute acceptance of anything or anybody saying whatever on a trap beat has opened the door for the likes of Drake to come and take the rap game over ?
**** changes, boo hoo cry me a river. The beauty of it is u can still go back and listen to all the old **** if u want.

With comments like this you essentially made Drake. He is the culmination of you and millions of other _s with the same mindset like yours

I've accepted that rap/hip hop has gotten so big, u gotta break it down into sub genres at this point. Trap is its own sound, everyone who does it won't blow but some will. Dudes get so mad when these dudes take off and flourish at what they do. It's not supposed to be Illmatic, it's serving it's purpose, same as crunk, boom bap etc. Me saying all that about drake at the end of the day is how I feel tho. U got the other end of it with MrWavez and others who think he's the goat, never made a bad song and like to grate with the homies to his music.

My whole point is there would be no Drake if we all didn't accept Doo Doo wrapped in fruity loop beats. That slick *** dude came right from under everybody and now has the game in a chokehold. **** would not happen if rap/hip hop had morals like it used too. You talking about sub genres like the machine pushing Drake and the people who eat up all this dumb **** care about that

Exactly. Can't give _'s the "rap has changed" excuse for everybody tryna sound like each other and putting little effort in the craft. I like alot **** that's out now it ain't no balance. And rap has always had different lanes.

"I'm not a rapper I just want the bread"

"I never listened to a big or pac song and idc"

"Drake is the greatest ever"

These type of comments would've got your **** pushed in with absolutely no chance of making a dime in rap 15+ years ago. The kids who got swirlies and wedgies in high school are now the "relevant" types. N_s always want to talk some "culture" **** but be the first ones to put a ***** on a pedestal who not even from that

As I get older I just stick to what I know/like and mix in a few of the new **** if I'm partying or got some ho's around or something ...still never played a full song from some of these dudes like yachty n em tho n I doubt I ever will

One thing I try not to do is slander these youngins too much when I'm not a teenager/college aged person in 2016 ...I don't even know what's going on wit em out here n it reminds me of ppl older than me saying **** bout music I grew up on

Wouldn't a Vulture be considered someone who is using Rap for their own benefit and not trying to advance the culture?............ yet you just acknowledged that these new dudes are making much less quality music and your response was boo hoo stop complaining.

You can't hate drake for being a "vulture" and be okay with other artist dismissing the history of hiphop or not trying to better there craft. Drake at the very least intends to make good records (the process to creating those records is in ?) end of the day tho we can't deny that he's a student of the game and tries to put out quality music (This is coming from someone who thought Views was extreme mid)

Do you guys/MyT hold Envy's opinion in high regard when it comes to music?

Dude is in the clubs all the times DJ'ing, so I know he sees how the crowds reacts to music. I'm getting more hyped about this ToD3 based off of him saying it goes hard.

Lol we gone act like its a stretch for Jeezy to make a hard album? In reference to Envy music is probably the only thing I'd trust dudes opinion on & even then I'd take that lightly

From my saying "I'm getting more hyped", you take away that there's doubt in dude to make a hard album? C'mon fam.

Youngin' was like 11 years old. And, he still younger than me.

There's a genre of rap for everyone, and it's been that way with Sugar Hill. You always had party rap, always had conscious rap. With that said, guys like Future suck to me. Yachty, Desiigner, Bobby Shmurda, sucks (to me) but I'm not going to knock their fans. Only way I knock them or their fans, is if someone brings up their music in a discussion. Then, I explain why I don't like them or their songs.

Can we all agree that Yachty might be right above drake as worse ever

so somebody like Designer basically ?

Yea exactly, & for the thousandth time on this website i never denied that Desiigner wasn't copying. My stance has always been that he's getting blame for **** other guys get passes for. Not to mention that as a future clone he also still makes better music than a lot of these younger "trap rappers" so >D

Yachty is the dude in the hood who you found out hit a certain female, and you don't eem wanna have sex with her. You look at her differently forever

All these guys are a simple case of chickens coming home to roost. Around 2006 I would say is when it became cool to like horrible rap music
What's really considered horrible tho? And what's considered great? Besides Yachty wouldn't that be subjective? Sounds like u feel like since the south took over its been horrible.

"I thought I told you characters, I'm not a rapper" - Jay Z, circa 15 years ago

A bunch of other rappers have and were saying this back then too, as with a lot of this **** tho, it's only a difference when it's coming from somebody you don't like.

As far as dudes saying they never listened to Biggie and Pac, _'s like Yachty weren't even alive when Pac died bruh  For somebody late 20s that would be outta line but cmon man some of these dudes were still in elementary for the 10 year anniversaries of Big and Pacs deaths its not that far fetched for them to not be that interested
